[2k18] Quick Questions
Yes, you may.

so a thread I finished before DA just got judged and the bonus OM from it would push me up to level 6, I assume that this will apply after the current round is done and not start from my first post in the fight?

@Victor: You'll get your additional stuff from your level next fight.

If my opponent doesn't post in time do I post when their time is up without them?

I would think it bypasses them and goes to the next person in line
But his was before DA... not during?

Edit: Meant for this to quote and respond to Dane

I refuse to lose this battle,
Let whatever come my way.
I am stronger then my rival,
No, I will not fall today...

His level was 5 when the fight started. That's all that matters, regardless of the source of OM. Next fight he'll benefit from level 6.
Quote:“Deadlines and the Three Strikes”: This event is intense, but the 2v2 format does mean you should (theoretically) have time between your posts. I understand that life happens. Because of this, every entrant in the tournament receives ‘three strikes.’ At any time, they may request an additional day to complete a post. This counts as using ‘one strike.’ After using all their strikes, missing a post will result in a scoring penalty. Strikes are per individual and may not be donated or exchanged

So... What happens if they pass the deadline without requesting? Is it a forfeit of the post? Do they auto get a strike? Can you get more than 1 strike in a post?

2- Is it a forfeit of the post?
3- Do they auto get a strike?
4-Can you get more than 1 strike in a post?

Then it goes to the next person
Yea
No
Yes
When I post up in my thread, does Dane need to wait 48 hours to see if someone drops a Jason post, or does his timer start immediately after I post?

If you and your partner win, but you die/get eliminated, do you still go to the next round with them?
Not entirely sure I follow, since partners move on together, not separately (ie -- your scores are combined).

If someone were to 'ghost' by missing both posts, that person would die and their partner would carry on with an NPC. If someone misses a post and their team manages to win (probably because someone on the enemy team also missed a post), both partners would move onto the next fight.

He waits

So... for public knowledge sake... can we get a Thread that counts strikes and for people to officially request to use one?

Super Attacks and Utilities that give opponents a chance to respond: No.
Super Defenses responding to an opponent's Super Attack or Utility: Yes.

Per Alex.
So we can post in the Pre-Show Facility between rounds? Also what is the mechanism of our healing?

You post in the Spectators thread.

Whatever method of healing you prefer (Mystics, Technicians, Technomystics, Senzu beans, High-efficiency Blue Goo Chambers), Syntech will have it.
