Move Creation Workshop
Let's assume a prime can move at 3 Spd maximum.

It would take such a prime 22 seconds to cover the distance the teleport covers if they don't hijack it. Assume Schwi has 3 Apr. It would take her 2.5 seconds to get through the portal.

The math says my teleport is terrible and the only good thing about it is bypassing buildings or other obstacles. Really i should have a greater distance covered.

A +1 speed power for a single duration would cover vastly more distance, travel time is basically unaffected
It also makes you practically immune to attacks for 3 minutes.

Anyone can go in.
and attack her inside and there is a large window to do so before the first portal closes and then they can still find the other end point and go in if she tries to rest inside the space.
I did say "practically". All you gotta do is hold down the first end for 10 seconds til it fully closes, since you never specified that you could do nothing else but maintain this thing while it was active. Then they have to figure out where the other, nearly invisible, end is out of the near infinite possibilities (because while the inside is blue and psychadelic, you made no mention of how the outside looks). Without God Moding, that's functionally impossible. I'm not weighing in on whether it should be approved or not here. I'm pointing out that it's not nearly as weak as the post you made prior to my own made it out to be.

I'm not sure it's that difficult :p. You could get a clue from having seen through the portal and part of the other side, Insight would let you know about the effects early

It depends heavily onenvironment. wouldn' do good in Nexus at all, and she has to have been to the area she is going to so it is restrictive in New areas
Right. There's always ways to work around something. Was just adding my two cents as to the possible applications of a slow teleport Move.

It also functions as a group teleport. I imagine the optimal use would be to teleport out of a large complex with a group of allies providing cover fire or super defenses that cover the entrance
The range limit for teleportation is still 80 meters. Final say, no takesies backsies.
@Schwi: If you want a group teleport, 80m is a perfectly good range for it to easily allow you to 'escape' most things. At least temporarily. That sort of thing could be accomplished with a normal move if you wanted - or a super defense to allow you and near allies to instantly teleport out the way of an enemy attack. But, the limit on teleportation isn't negotiable. There's no real reason why you'd need to teleport much further than 80m. 80m is a good range, allowing it to be a useful utility and good for fights without it ever becoming an alternative method of travel - even in the short term. Sorry, but 80m is the hard limit. Always. No amount of tweaking and bargaining can change that.

If I were you, I'd give up on this super. You could perhaps get a normal move to allow people to follow you through teleports (when you want them to) or one to bring them with you initially, if you wanted.
I drop it now for this reason.

80 meters means nothing. to a 3 speed prime at running speed. I can teleport 7 seconds away. triple that time for a complex environment at best.

It just sounds bad, it wouldn' make for a good narative, it would be out of character for Schwi to invest so much for no gain.
You move there instantly and the other prime needs to run at top speed to get to you, tiring them and opening them up to an attack. With a high enough speed they'll have other stats that are most likely lower and you could just teleport behind them.
Schwi, you're forgetting that they won't see you travelling there. You go from one place to another instantly, and can even pass through walls or obstacles (as long as you can either see or sense the other side, or you're ballsy enough to just hope there's space 80m in one direction). If you want to run quickly, get super speed. Unless they have Enhanced Senses, or there isn't anything to hide behind, teleportation can bring you out of combat for a while. Or just let you get behind someone. You are right that, numerically, teleportation doesn't allow for a boost to speed or anything like that, but that's the point - if it did it would just be broken. If someone leaves you for a few seconds, you can just go 'poof' and they're not gonna know where you are straight away. Imo, it's more for speedy "get the drop on people" types. Where you can flank and stuff like that. You'd be right that it can be hard to make use of effectively.

There's no reason why you would need to teleport further than 80m at once. If you want it as an easy/fast way to run away from a fight, you'd naturally be denied without the hard limit on teleportation range. Just get a warp whistle. Or try your luck running away.
I am not going instantly that is not what the super move says.
This all reminds me of a move I had started a long time ago and never finished. If I wanted to portal something very large (for the sake of description, lets say a truck) as an offensive move, a super move would be the way to go on that, yea? I figure I could just do it with my normal 'Portals' for PvE stuff, but for a PvP situation, SP for the win?

When I was first putting Blink together, I remember being told that I could 'group teleport' with my usual portals, but I'd need to come up with something separate if I was gonna start dropping shit on people.

@Schwi: Yes, you're not. But the normal power does allow instant travel. And that's what your prior comment was talking about.

If you want to make a shortened version of your tunnel as a normal move, but with a fatigue drawback or charge time added, you're welcome to. Either way, my earlier point still stands. You don't need to be able to travel further than 80m at once.

@Blink: How do your normal portals work? Are they a move? Can't you just add a modification to that and make it variable or something. Since I don't think the base teleportation power allows for free portals where people follow you since that's not mentioned in the base power (or maybe it does and I wasted OM on group teleport moves ;_; ).
At least this saves me getting denied in move approvsl :p

I am not going to discuss it further unless my rules suggestion is taken.  Because it won' go anywhere.

No, portals is just how I manifest 'Master Teleportation.' To be fair, I made Blink many years ago and the 'group teleport' rule very well could have showed up in the move approval process long after I joined and disappeared. If most people are having to spend 300 OM to group teleport, I don't mind doing it.

With that in mind, still curious on if you (or anyone) thinks that teleporting a massive object on someone is worth a super move.

It might not be your style Schwi, but stealth pairs well with teleportation.
Step 1: Teleport behind someone or outside of their sight.
Step 2: Stealth (since you can only do that when out of sight).

Super move wise, you could probably get something to speed up your teleports, rather than making them longer.

General move wise, you could get something to speed up teleports (but with a drawback, maybe fatigue or putting the power on cooldown or a mixture). Or a smaller version of your super move but for 80m.

Just suggestions. You could get something to teleport unwilling people and then really juggle up a fight and have a lot of control.
@Blink: If I were you, I'd just ask a higher up to go through your roster. And some of your moves and the like, since they are pretty old and I'm not confident they'd pass approval currently. See what you can and can't do.

It's not that there's an explicit ruling that said you've got to have a move for a group teleport. But it's not covered by the base power so I assumed you'd probably need one.

Teleporting something big is only worth a super move if you're doing it for a big attack (like dropping it on someone). Otherwise you could probably just get a move to bring vehicles or something with you.
If you're looking into "long distance" teleport, here's a possible viable option: chain Teleports together. Maybe something along the lines of "each SP Spent allows Schwi to create another 80 meter long tunnel for the same fatigue and time cost". And have a brief period of time between tunnels where you and anyone with you is vulnerable. Because, while 80 meters might not seem that long, it's actually a fair distance. About a quarter of the way up the Empire State Building.
