I'm sorry if I'm a bit... enthusiastic. I have strong opinions about pvp and I really don't like someone trying to throw limited deadlines into people's faces. I probably would not be looking at this topic had that not happened

When it says that 'you may' have up to seven days, that is in no way saying that, 'you get seven days regardless of anything else because I say so and that is the rules'.

It is saying that the players may decide on anywhere between 1 - 7 days of preparation for said fight, unless agreed upon by both parties.

I would say no, unless the summon time is instant. Smith has had time to prepare for this because he was betrayed and murdered. It's a little weird to start talking about fairness now.

It means exactly if one party wants 7 days then it's 7 days. They can't force more unless both agree. It's black and white, may is used as an allowance here not a restriction or a random chance.

And you've got parties on both sides that want a fair time.
