that doesn't stop me from taking sas' stuff. I can't enter both characters into events together, trade between them, or enter fights with both of them.

The graveyard gave us a week to finish posting in the graveyard. IC happens only as the character actually proceeds. You shouldn't be allowed to force someone out of an official event that isn't accessible from the rest of the Omniverse.

Also, I feel like I must say this, but almost everyone here is forgetting something. Something very important.

I understand that Sasuke, Victor, and their allies may be a bit burned out from life and the event. I'm perfectly willing to wait for them to sort out what they need and respond to my challenge when they are prepared mentally and emotionally to do so.

As I've said before, this is about IC revenge on the part of a man known for being vindictive and vengeful. I'm unconcerned about OOC vendettas. If someone uses an IC reason to settle an OOC animosity in this challenge, I, of course, don't care about that either. As long as it make sense for the character.

I'll be clear here. I'm not picking on anyone. I'm not "out to get" anyone nor am I angry in an OOC sense. My character, Smith, desires justice for his perceived wrongs. THAT is the reason for the challenge. After doing his research on Sasuke and Victor, he realized he would need help in enacting his revenge, thus the Dataverse message. How people use this message is none of my business. For me, this is an entirely IC affair.

Event is over now, and Minato has his own plans, things he needs to get back to. He'd be disappointed in the people he recognizes, but ultimately, it's none of his business anymore. I am going to have to ask you to stop gasping at straws and let it rest. This is happening. Stop the flamewar and will you please treat eachother with some respect and act like adults.

Its all fun and games when people are on the bully side of a fight...but when the tables turn its drama. I am done with people trying to come up with silly reasons to turn this around. Its an IC thing...its happening. If you wish to discuss this further please be civil or it will have consequences.

No one is upset or complaining about Smoth wanting to fight Sas. The issue here is how they amassed so many teammates all while Sasuke was participating in the saga. Now they want to wait for him like a bull after school.

Just to be clear, Donnel wasn't so much attacking as he was defending his cargo ship from an onslaught of primes and he ended up damaging some stuff in the process.

To be clear, I stepped in when I saw a grown man being beaten into the ground by a teenager who was also wrecking the market. So, yeah, defending the interests of the trade community was there... somewhere.

So, this is me right now:

A player who really does not wish to fight may appeal to staff, especially if they have been targeted by the same player more than once, but it is highly discouraged as a break of IC. Players with a bounty cannot turn down a fight unless they have a legitimate reason, such as having real-life commitments (in which case they should post in the Going Away thread.

I won't be able to be active immediately after the saga.

Nothing else really matters until staff reaches out to me in regards to this.

Also, how can I have a 72 hour countdown when I still have allotted time before I hit the nexus? If staff doesn't care about my real life situation, my countdown still wouldn't start immediately. I am not in the verse, so you can't challenge me until I am.

I'm still not in the Nexus. The GY literally ended yesterday. It's Smith's challenge and Smith said he'd wait. That should be it, considering anyone else in the party wouldn't have IC reason to be there without Smith.

Ururu might be interested in joining in, she still needs to interrogate Sasuke about his history anyways. And since they are going to be in the same place at the same time she'll likely chose her people (exception Desco) over strangers. She has some anger issues she needs to vent on hapless idiots anyways.

On other news, I'm looking to Ururu to possibly step in to defend Sauske.

Which means Desco will step in with Ururu.

Which means if Guu has time OOC, Guu IC will definately be there.

And quite possibly the rest of the Ambrosia PCs in the Nexus that have the time to help their leader's bestest friend. But it depends on how Guu is feeling up to it OOC for that part and they are feeling.

And my real reasons are simple. OOC, I don't like it. Its unfair to bend the rules this way and change official events to force a fight right after (Not actually out yet) getting out of an unfinished saga without any downtime. So if I can arrange it IC to defend Sauske I will. I don't like how someone who preaches not fighting people that don't want to then goes around and tries to force an immediate time deadline on someone. (And that obviously isn't Smith).

At the same time I'm not going to force Guu or others into the fight which I would if I get into it, for IC reasons. Guu would not leave Desco to do this alone. But Guu has had computer troubles as of late and with other RL considerations I may have to avoid this fight to not complicate matters for her.
