No, you still need the right profs. Whether a sword is move level or incidental, you would still need the Physical Strength Prof. to swing it. Sorry for confusing you, all I mean is that without mimic you could not use a player's sword's blast attack in a fight, you would need a sword blast attack move or mimic to perform said blast attack from their sword. You could however, with the move you have made, take someones sword and swing it around as an incidental weapon so long as you have physical str prof, just not the blast attack function of their sword, not without mimic or a move prior to the fight starting. Does that clear up what was meant?

Can you use a recall station to go from the Astral realm to a verse predestinated by the recall station?

Also can we buy 'effective' traps for our bases? Ones that can actually do harm to people.

Assuming you are physically in the Astral Realm by way of Spiritual Enlightenment, the only way to leave is via the description provided in the item's description, and returning to the world where you first entered it to begin with.

Also just as a note, Recall Stations always take you straight back to your base. Teleporters, within your base, can send you to other verses, however.

As for traps for your base, the closest you could get would be moves or Assists and the like that only function within your base, but those would still require you to be present to defend it with the mechanics in play.

Okay this might just be a stupid and slightly confusing question, but a sentient sword that is slightly vampiric, but still boosts the user, is an Assist or Power-up?

If it can act on its own separate from being wielded, an assist. I doubt a powerup either unless it increases stats. It'd just be a sword with moves.

Would a Super Move be okay to do if it includes a form-change (for a purchased alternate form, of course)?

For instance, if my character was piloting a mech and the Super Move consists in them ejecting out of the mech and having that mech explode in their opponent's face - and in the process my character goes from their "Mech" form into their "Pilot" form as they eject.

I'd have to see the full write-up of the move, but I think it could be possible. The restriction would be more of a fodder thing. Like "I can only activate this when in mech mode and at the end of the attack I can no longer sustain the transformation" or something along those lines.

Same as regular moves. Balance them, get them approved and buy them. Then you can use them with as many or as few of your assists/transforms as you like. Assists share your moves, powers and profs by default, while transformations don't bar you from using moves inherently. When you buy a move it's considered to be available to all forms and assists by default. If you want to play it as not being available to one or more, that's all up to preference. Won't effect damage or anything as it's not a downside, it's just flavor.

Is "combo"-ing your own moves together allowed if it makes them more powerful? Something like applying an area shield move to your blunt weapon to make it hit harder, or attaching a dagger to your sole to deliver a kick that also cuts?

Similar to how you can 'combo' super moves together (A super move from two separate Primes each), it will not make the moves stronger in any way.

I guess you can use them in Tandem if you want, but this would just be a Fodder effect... Unless you fork up the OM and make said move(s) variable.

I was wondering...
How does it go if Hana isn't near the mech? (Considering it's kind of like a vehicle, but not quite.)
(As you see she has 2 forms, one where she's in the mech, one where she's not.)
Can she just like, summon it somehow, or does it become a "Well shit, time to run like hell to the parking lot." at the start of the fight, if she isn't in it & it isn't near her?

Also, might as well ask, can she use the mech form for traveling?

So you don't need to have the mech nearby to change into it (since it's an Alt Form).

Changing from one form to another is based on SPD. So going from Hana to Hana-in-Mech would take a few seconds (because Pilot form has 4 SPD). This can be roleplayed as a short delay before the mech is teleported to her. Going from Mech to Hana would take a little longer, given the much slower speed of that form.

And yes, you can use the mech form for traveling.

They're entirely separate. This is for the same reason that we don't force people to buy a VR station when they would like an Uplink Station. Sometimes (like Harry here), you're only interested in the one and not the other. As for why it's an item and not an ability, I'd imagine it's for simplicity. It ties it in with the other special, non-Nexus, non-Omni's-house verses; the other two require different items currently to enter (Banishment Circle for Underverse, Uplink/Artefact for Dataverse), so it makes it easier to think of them all as 'item-locked' verses. Also it makes it easier on folks that want to be 'world-travelers', not taking a bite out of their Powers Cap.

Of course it's entirely possible (not planned at the moment as far as I know) that this could change in the future, but if we like changed the uplink stations into a Technopathy ability, it would make things pretty complicated. So for now and the foreseeable future, that's how 'tis. =P

Staff supplies them for events or unique quests. You just have to look out for them.

Could I for my entrance post, have it take a form of a lake, with a small island in the middle of it, with a stone pedestal in the center of the island, where Caliburn would be lodged, that Arthuria could then pull out and claim for herself?
Obviously it'd be the RP fluffiest RP fluff, but I really want to have her regain Caliburn in one way or another in Omniverse, and I thought that could be a really nice way of doing so.
