Perhaps I made a wrong turn?
#61
With out dismounting, Fawklin reared Kegowasee around and bolted from the scene after noticing the fear in Gherron's eyes and the hesitance in Quill's. Fawklin decided quickly that if the two spacefareres felt what they did how would one such as he fare. Not wanting to do what he did left Fawklin somewhat ashamed but some what relieved.

He continued in the opposite direction for about twenty or so minutes to let his horse drink from the fountain that seems to be the center of his despair. After ten minutes he hopped back on Kegowasee and continued east, even tho the direction was unknown to him. Another forty minutes goes by of altering speeds, when the boy and the horse stood infront of a large stone gateway flanked by to guards with painted shields and pikes. Beyond the sprawling brilliant pillars and arch, a grassy pasture rolling with hills. Looks like home. He thought to himself smiling.

As Fawklin and his horse got closer to the gate, the two guards looked at Fawklin but not with recognition just curiosity of sorts. They eyed him, but saying nothing, and Fawklin did the same. The two get closer and closer, until one guard turned and stepped towards Fawklin. "Must be a new Prime eh? Your steed won't live the transportation. You must go on foot, you can summon it once you pass." The guard said reaching for the non existent bridals. Confused but not wanting to tempt fate, Fawklin swings a leg over and hops down. "It's been so long, what's another five minutes." He said patting Kegowasee on the neck then turns and takes a few more steps until he is a hair away from the apex. "Keep breathing, keep walking and if need be close your eyes." The other guard said in attempt to encourage Fawklin. Looking back at the portal he closes his eyes takes in a deep breath and steps forward.
