If I were to do a flashback arc for Weiss in the astralverse, in a pre-omniverse time period fro her, would that require her to be asleep or otherwise out of a "normal" thread IC?

Would I need to buy seperate moves for Bombs and Bomb arrows? The only real difference would be the distance they can travel and how quick they do so.

Link: Probably.
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

Taking the following situation: I make an NPC Prime with unspent OM. Later I want to give that Prime a new move. Is that possible, and if so would the move need to be approved through the Move Approval or elsewhere, and how would I purchase it?

Moves for NPCs are treated the same way as any mother move, they must be approved via move approval.
As for purchasing it, just add it to the NPC moves list and then deduct the OM from their OM. I don't know, that's what I'd do.

Do assists require secondaries or if they don't, can I make one that does?

Ok. I heard about this Secondary Saga II being in the works. I thought it sounded interesting and posited the idea of joining it as Reinhardt from Overwatch.
And then Mick posed a valid question: is that permissible? There are already two overwatch characters (Mei and D.Va though the latter is apparently inactive?) and Nezha, my character, is not from Overwatch. Would I still be allowed to join the Secondary Saga II as Reinhardt?

No, you'd have to join as a secondary from your prime's canon (I joined an earlier secondary saga as Top Man, who had been summoned by Proto Man earlier in my writing career) or as an OC secondary.

Would a move that makes "Magic" possible for secondaries be allowed as an RP Flavor thing or not?

If you want you can have your secondaries know spells, but you wouldn't be able to have them help you in combat without an assist.

What's a Dataverse Avi and do characters you create in games which let you do so count as OCs?
09-07-2016, 09:00 AM
Dataverse avatar refers to the digital representation of yourself when you're not physically in the Dataverse.
And as long as it's a game like Skyrim that lets you name and create a character from the ground up, yes. Okiday
I need some slight clarification on the Dataverse Messageboards. Let's say I make a thread and name it "Email to X [Y, Private]" where X is the character's handle on the Dataverse Messageboards and Y is the account name. Do I need to include the stuff in square brackets? And if I want to create a thread asking for something general in the Dataverse Messageboards, can I do that by taking a topic title and slapping on the "Open" topic prefix? Do I even need the prefix? Thank you for your time.

It's fine to put the brackets, the thread just needs to meantion if it's private or public. Also, you need to get someones "phone number" before you can message them privately. Ex., if I wanted to message you privately, I'd make the title, "Email to Nezha[Private]" if I wanted to do I public post, "Dawny Doo's Blog[Public]". Hope that helps.
