Mao held out one hand and then brought it up to a fist. "You are both interesting subjects! All I want to do... *huff* *huff*" He started to breathe heavily again which continued to make things a little awkward. Desco wasn't sure what was wrong with him but the weird look in his eyes and the breathing... Desco started to edge to Nyeseth and hide behind him, Yogsothoth appearing and now having her float in the air. She had no idea what it was, but this guy was really creepy to Desco. "Is help you! Don't you think it would be easier if you had a Superalloy body? I can fix you right up!" The Ninja nearby just stood still, watching with their brown eyes and white hair. Other than the pointed ears they didn't look that much different from humans.Clearly they were disciplined, and waiting for something to happen.

Desco shivered a little bit behind Nyeseth who saw it out of the corner of his eye, and gave Desco a reaffirming hand on her shoulder for a moment. Someone that was having them followed and wanted to experiment on them, this was certainly someone not to be trusted. "Look, we don't want your 'help'." Guu on the other hand, mildly entertained the idea with her dis-interested voice. Probably in part to lead on Mao on his crazy path, since Guu was capable of changing her body drastically herself. No need for a mad scientist to do it for her. "It might be cool to be a robot." "That's the Spirit! But wait Samurai, you haven't heard my credentials yet!" Mao held out his hands below him in a big, self-absorbed gesture to show how great he was. "I am the Dean of Evil Acadamey and I have a 1.8 Million EQ!" Nyeseth's passive face turned to a frown for a moment as Mao mentioned something that didn't mean anything to him. "EQ?" Desco had never had the opportunity to take an EQ test, but she knew of them. "Evil Quotient! It means he is really smart, and really knows how to be evil." Mao continued as if nothing had been said. "And that isn't all! I've discovered something new in this wide Omniverse! I can make you into more powerful demons than you've ever imagined! With the strength of ten demons, and move faster than Nekomata! *huff *huff* You'll get a cool white mask over your face and strange powers even I don't know about yet!"

Nyeseth paused for a second, what this new man had described sounded a lot like Hollowfication. Nyeseth stared at the man as the man stared back at him, something about this man seemed off, he breathed heavily every time he mentioned a scientific endeavour. It seemed as if this person was a scientist of some sort, but if he was anything like Mayuri, then there was something to watch out for, and that was his cunning and scientific expertise.
‘What do you mean, white mask?’ Nyeseth asked cautiously, he knew what he meant, but he needed to confirm his suspicions.
‘I can make it so that you get a mask and a hole in your chest... *huff* *Huff*’ Mao said as he began to breathe heavily, causing Nyeseth to place his hand on the handle of his sword, ready to strike if necessary.
‘That’s called Hollowfication, it’s not something to be messed with.’ Nyeseth explained as something within him stirred as he mentioned the word hollowfication. It made him uneasy, it felt dark and dangerous, yet familiar all at the same time.
‘Hollowfication…’ Mao pondered as Nyeseth continued to explain.
‘When you do that to a living being, they go through a tremendous amount of stress and pain, when you separate a soul chain from a living thing, it can never be restored within its own life time.’ Nyeseth continued furiously, as if a personal offense had been committed. Nyeseth felt something stir again, this time it was stronger, and even more familiar this time. Nyeseth watched as two T-rex’s walked out of the forest behind the man, how they didn’t notice them was beyond Nyeseth, but there they were. Two Tyrannosaurs ready to Kill. As Nyeseth looked up he noticed something weird about them, they both had white masks and holes where their hearts would be.
‘You did it already… Didn’t you?’ Nyeseth asked angrily as he drew his sword, watching both hollows as they prepared to attack.

As the T-rexes showed up, she desperately wanted to yell out “How do you intend to catch us with those? They’re built to eat things, not subdue them!” But she didn’t want to draw attention, so she kept her snark to herself. While she had a ranged weapon thanks to a random on-a-whim summon she discreetly did earlier around the fire, she didn’t want to chance her newest weapon failing on her. So she used the cover of the scuffle to slink off into hiding.

Ninja #1 (and he literally had a #1 sewn into his shirt,) was hiding in a nearby bush. His orders were only to move in if they try to escape, so he waited and watched as the chaos ensues. However, he felt himself get grabbed by the foot and dragged across the ground. He darts his head upward to see Guu, pulling him along by the ankle. He reaches for his distress whistle, but, without even looking, her arm flies backwards into his face, knocking him senseless.
She stops suddenly and starts spinning in place. After a while, she’s spinning so fast that the ninja was now floating in he grasp from sheer force.
“So long, lame ninja.” She said dully as she let go, launching him off into the horizon.
Guu took a few seconds to get her head straight before slinking off into the shadows again.

Ninja #2 could have sworn he heard something and he moved to climb down the tree he was hiding in. However, something suddenly hit his foot. He felt himself falling, and as he looked down, he saw Guu standing there, her mouth inhumanly wide open.
The ninja fell into her mouth, and got lodged in her throat. She tried desperately to swallow him, but he just wouldn’t go down. Just as she felt her lungs tinged with pain from the lack of oxygen, she spit him out.
As the ninja ran away in complete terror, Guu stuck her hand down her mouth. Everything seemed fine with her stomach, so it must be something wrong with her throat. However, she didn’t have time right now to really concern herself with it, so she slinked off once more.

Ninja #3 was surfing his Dataverse Device, not even paying attention to what was going on. He was just surfing through twitter when he looked up to see Guu’s face glaring at him. However, the ninja’s face was scrunched in thought, leading to her confusion. Then suddenly, the man had a look of realization.
“OMG, you’re Guu!” He exclaimed excitedly. “I didn’t recognize you from so far! You see, I read your blog! I’m like one of your biggest fans!”
Guu, amused, looked away shy.
“Oh, I’m not that great.” She lied.
“Could you sign my Dataverse Device?” He exclaimed.
He pulls out a sharpie marker. Guu took it and the device, writing out her incredibly short name.
“Just one name?” He asked.
She thought about it for a moment.
“Guu don’t need no stickin’ last name.” She exclaimed.

A few minutes later, the two were sitting back-to-back, faces deep in their dataverse devices.
“So how are you going to respond to that Doomguy guy?” he asked.
“Eh, just stand my ground.” She says plainly. “Maybe troll him a bit.”
“While I don’t fully agree with your opinion, I do like that you’re at least being sensible.” He said.
A moment of silence befell the two. Then Guu had a thought.
“Oh yeah, I forgot you were working for the bad guy, Chuck.” She said.
“Eh, I don’t care anymore. He promised cybernetic upgrades, but that doesn’t sound as cool anymore. I’m fine as long as I have the Dataverse.” He said. “What about your friends? Don’t they need your help?”
“I’m sure they could handle it. I’m more the utility of the group than an actual fighter.” She said, burying her face in the device once more.
The two stayed there for the rest of the battle; a kinship in nerdery.

As Guu dealt with the Ninjas, Desco faced the Dynasaurs with Nyeseth. Desco of course, had no idea what the origins of this big guys were. But Nyeseth said things that Mao wanted to know more about. "I see, you seem to know a lot about this 'Hollowfication' process! You must come from the universe where it originated.. What I've found is that if these beasts kill things they convert their victims to powerful masked demons!" Mao scratched his chin, and then his arms went out with hands in menaical gripping gestures. "*huff* *huff* I must know what you know! How about you join my research staff? If there are easier ways to 'Hollowfy' my subjects, think about how much easier it will be to experiment!" Mao though, obviously had no problems with what he had done. In fact, it was clear he hadn't even understood that Nyeseth was outraged by what Mao had done. He was pretty much a one-track mind and had little concept of mortal outrage.

Meanwhile, Desco faced the two T-Rexes while Nyeseth was distracted by Mao. They roared, that dark, evil roar that was carried by all Hollows, and started to charge Desco. What they were originally was unclear. The only thing, that only Nyeseth would know, is that they probably weren't giant T-Rexes just with masks added. They were actually a pair of Lizardfolk that Mao had captured and thrown into a pit to be devoured by a Hollow he had locked up. Fortunately for Desco and everyone else in the Omniverse, without access to the inbetween realm they couldn't manage to teleport out of and back into combat. Desco summoned Yogsothoth and was ready for their attack. "Desco will show you, Daddy made her strong! Fire!" Desco held up a hand with a red magical circle appearing at her feet while the spell was active and engulfed one of the T-Rex's legs in fire. The thing roared from the injury and fell to the ground as its leg got seared. The other charged and tried to bite down on Desco, but before Nyeseth, who was probably about to, could intervene Desco's tentacles stretched out and blocked the attack, holding onto its mouth. It inched forward pushing Desco back, until another tentacle came to uppercut its head from below pushing back the T-Rex. It shook its head from the blow, dazed, but it didn't seem to be majorly hurt.

As Desco stared both Hollows down, Nyeseth took the opportunity to make a surprise attack on one of them, slicing its head off with one blow, as Nyeseth landed and the Hollow and it’s severed head fell to the ground behind him, he gave his blade one shake and then sheathed it, turning to the Hollow as it disintegrated into black dust. Nyeseth turned to face Mao with a furious look on his face.
‘You don’t understand any part of this, do you?’ Nyeseth asked as Mao just stared at him, an intrigued look on his face, making Nyeseth become even angrier.
‘By creating these Hollows you forcefully corrupted a soul, and since it’s here in this god forsaken place, there’s not going back for them, no cleansing, no happy ending.’ Nyeseth explained with a sense of fury in his voice that declined the man’s invitation, there was no way in hell that Nyeseth would work for a monster like him.

Guu was just in the middle of another blog post that analyzes the greater nature of one-syllable names when she suddenly sensed something.
“Huh, the ninja’s are back.” She said out loud.
“Oh yeah.” Chuck the ninja responded, “Demon ninjas are fiercely loyal to whomever they swear to.”
Guu turned her head 180 degrees and shot the back of his head a glance.
“Then how do you explain yourself?” She asked.
Chuck looked a tad uncomfortable at the question. After a long pause, he answered.
“Uhh, I never swore to him. I had my fingers crossed.” He said nervously.
She kept up the glare for a few seconds before relenting. Sitting right next to him, she could feel his heart rate with her senses. It shot up when he said that. However, it didn’t do that when he said he didn’t care about Mao anymore, so she figured some other factor was in play. She decided not to worry about it.
Climbing onto her toes, she twisted her head back into place. Taking a few minutes, she summoned a couple lengths of rope and swallowed them whole.
“Well, better take care of those guys before they become a problem.” She said before running off into the general direction of the ninja.

Ninja #1 was limping steadily forward, trying to get back to a reasonable distance from Mao. However. He felt a leg get snatched again, toppling him to ground. He looks up and again he seems those horrible eyes. He screams horrible at the sight of them, before Guu gives him another wop on the head.
She pulls out the length of rope and this time tying him down. Then she shapes her arm into a shovel and digs a hole in the ground. She buries the ninja neck deep in the soil. He struggles against the ropes that bind him to no avail.
But just as Guu finished, Ninja #2 jumped out of the woods sword drawn. He slices into Guu’s arm, chopping it off. The ninja stood there, looking accomplished. Guu looked down at the dismembered arm. She picks it up, and eats it. Within seconds, it grows back to full length. Upon seeing this, the Ninja turns to run in terror again. However Guu launched another fist into the back of his head, knocking him out.
Guu would tie him by the leg and string him up to the branch of a tree. After that, she spent a few minutes summoning a tiny cage to put around the head of the ninja buried in the ground.
Shifting around the shape of her throat, she would make the best impression of a velociraptor call she could make. Ducking back into stealth, she watched as a pack of raptors circle around the two Ninja. The one in the tree screams for help as the raptors try to jump up to the ninja, who is just out of reach.
Guu, with an accomplished smile on her face head back to Chuck to go back to her surfing.

Desco watched as Nyeseth came to her assistance and dispatched one of the hollows. Unlike Desco, he knew their weakness. Cleaving their head and mask in two would kill them permanently. With his Zanpakto, the Hollow was supposed to be purified though who knows what is going to happen to the soul in the Omniverse. He dispatched with the one struggling to get up from the ground, Tyrannosaurs Rex was a poor body to have, with a quick drawing slash and stared angerily at Mao. "So they'll become Prinnies when they go to Hades, that is no concern of mine. They were probably going there anyway. Monsters are not much different from Demons." Mao's voice was clealry not remorseful or concerned. He was more annoyed that Nyeseth would bring up such frivolous issues. He also had no concern that the Hollows were dispatched so readily. They were weak subjects and even stronger were still weak. But it immediately revealed something that took Mao some weeks to find out, that they had a weak point. It was that point which was why he didn't use the experiment on himself or his closer advisers.

"So what do you say? Do you want to join my staff as a research consultant? I won't take no for an answer, you will join me one way or the other!" Nyeseth looked down, his anger towards Mao barely in check. This guy clearly didn't get anything Nyeseth was saying and was evil incarnate. He may well be worse than the Hollows. Hollows acted on instinct until they gained enough power to grow intelligence and still their actions followed irresistible baser urges. A whole soul acting so heartlessly against other whole souls with no regard to others and as a whole that focused his intelligence on making more Hollows.."Then how about this for an answer?" Nyeseth charged Mao, and make a quick slash but Mao brought out his own sword, where did that come from?, to to parry it. "So that's it, you'll have it the hard way!"

Guu after getting an unrealistic amount of things done in the Dataverse, she’s playing around with he malleability, shifting her arm into random objects like: a screw driver, a tiny picnic table, a bird flying in place, a bee, a taco (which she eats), and a nun.
However, while shifting the tip of her arm into the head of a cat, she noticed that this time it wound up different. Instead of being skin colored like all her other shifts, she grew fur and eyes and became extremely realistic. I meowed at her, causing her to flinch a little and lose the shape, her arm shifting back to normal.
It took a second for her to process what just happened. After the moment passes, she thinks really hard on that cat, imagining how it would look like in its full body. She shut her eyes and focused on its little paws, his soft furry body, its wagging expressive tail and that head once more. Opening her eyes again, suddenly her face was inches from the dirt. She looked at her feet to see that they have been replaced with paws. Her sense kicked back in. She was standing on four feet. She was a cat.
She walked around in her new body, strutting gleefully on one of her old powers coming back. She moved around to the front of her new ninja companion.
“Oh!” He said, “Hello there kitty!”
He reaches out, stroking her velvet fur. She let’s a bored human like moan, which is enough for the ninja to recoil in surprise.
Thinking of her old body again, she shifts back into Guu again.
“Ooh, Shapeshifting powers?” He asked, amused.
“Just figured out how to work it just now.” She said as she shifts her hand into a cat again. It meows much to the ninja’s enjoyment and slight terror.
Suddenly Guu senses something going on in the battlefield. She gives off an annoyed grunt.
“Oh, I’ve got to go. My group mates apparently need me.” Guu exclaimed.
“Alright, you take care now!” He said, “E-Mail me sometime!”
Guu ran off in the direction of the battle.

Nyeseth flash stepped to the other side of Mao which surprised him as he got in a good hit, using his greater speed to his advantage. But his hit hadn't the impact that he had expect as Mao swung around with his sword and Nyes barely blocked it. The two started to exchange sword blows. It was clear that Nyes was the faster of the two, but while Mao didn't move as quickly he managed to predict and block his blows.

"Your are strong but it is Irrelevant! I'll show you the true power of a Demon!" With a powerful block and counter throwing off Nyeseth, Mao took an opening and slashed with his sword but missing on purpose. He started up some wing magic and caught Nyeseth up in it. He to move rapidly in a circle around Nyes and created a wind tornado on top of him. The Tornado carried them both into the air 20 feet before Mao manipulated his magic to put him right above Nyes. He slashed hard, and while Nyeseth blocked the blow with his sword Mao's burst of strength threw him through the tornado, forcing it apart and throwing him into the ground. Nyeseth gasped in pain as he struck the ground hard on his back. "Now Die!" Before the Soul Reaper could recover, Mao concentrated green energy on his hand and fell to the ground on top of him. He held out his hand and landed on Nyeseth, dealing a damaging blow and he his Nyeseth's sword and the energy in his hand blasted into him.

Desco watched as the two fought for a while with curiosity and excitement. But with that last blow, Desco realized that Mr. Samurai might need her help. As she watched, she saw that Mao was using a burst of super speed in his last attack to catch Nyeseth off guard. "Be careful Nyeseth! Do you want Desco's help?" However, she didn't get an answer as he was a little busy.

Nyeseth laid still for a while as Mao jumped off of being on top of him and waited for him to do something. He considered how things had gone so far and it wasn't good, he would have to pull out all the stops on this one. He called out his Shikai. "Bleach them white, Shiro Ryu" Nyeseth's Sword transformed into the blade formed from bone as he had during the fight with the Cockatrice. He wasted no time. "Now, Flash Strike!" The Soul Reaper with his transformed sword Flash Stepped to where Mao was standing, who was surprised at Nyes's burst of speed. Nyeseth struck Mao but didn't stop there, Flash stepping over and over again to strike Mao from every angle. The first few strikes made their mark, but Mao figured out what he was doing and started to block some of the incoming slashes.

Mao started to cast a series of his elemental spells in turn, Nyeseth took the first ice spell covering his body and exploding at full but he managed to dodge the others as starbursts and Ice blasts traced the path that Nyeseth moved in. "So you do do have some interesting tricks there! But I doubt you can keep that up for long!" He was right as Nyeseth had exhausted himself with the barrage of Flash Strikes already. He charged in for another hit, but as he appeared at Mao's side, Mao had already cast Star on that spot and the three bursts teared through him, while a second had hit the air as he had covered his bases. With the successful hit, Mao held out his sword and burst moved next to Nyeseth, slashing him along the way, and then jumping back to where he had started for a stab into Nyeseth.

The Soul Reaper backed off, and his Shikai reverted to normal. It seemed that his powers that he had before were not going to return so easily as the duration he could keep up his Shikai was much shorter than in the Soul Society, or perhaps it was also the difference in the kind of world this was. Regardless, Desco approached him and Mao, wanted to help. "Come on, Desco wants to help!" Before she could get close, Mao snapped and held out his hand. "Giga Ice!" A blue magical circle carved itself into the ground at his feet and a transparent blue sphere appeared around Mao with two rings spinning around the sphere. The sphere expanded. and both the sphere and circle disappeared, with a new magical circle appearing above Nyeseth.

Nyeseth backed off a little, to him this was obviously some kind of Kido attack. The magical circle created a series of very large blue water bubbles in the air, calm and serene as they just hanged there. But suddenly Nyeseth was encased in ice, in the bottom part of a huge ice star that covered the area. "Nyeseth!" The Giga Ice shattered itself, and the shattering forced ripped through the Soul Reaper's body who collapsed to the ground, unmoving. Desco charged over to him, "Mr. Samurai?"

Mao was clearly exhausted from the attack, and he considered his options now. Since taking out one of their number and taken so much out of him, he would probably die if he continued to fight. He may be a psychopathic unfeeling scientist demon but he wasn't stupid. "I guess that is just too bad for him then. I'll be back for you two again!" Mao burst off in a burst of speed accelerating up to his super speed quickly before suppressing his life signs from Guu's senses and activating his stealth for everyone else's senses.

As soon as Guu had arrived, it was too late. Mao was already on the run and Nyeseth was already on the ground.
“Mr. Samurai?” Desco inquired, kneeling down next to him.
Guu sat by his side too. His eyes flickered open slightly too looked up at the two.
“You’re both safe.” He said, “I’m glad.”
Guu moved in to treat his wounds, but Nyeseth stopped her.
“It’s no use.” He said, “It’s over. You two will have to go on without me…”
Guu looked over to Desco, she looked back at her.
“Well, good bye you two…” He said, shiny particles started emitting from his body. “It’s been good… for the most part. Take care…”
And with that, he faded away into dust and was gone.
“Good bye, I guess.” Desco said, sounding slightly forlornly.
Guu got up and sat next to her, giving her a little hug for comfort, which Desco responded in due.

Later that night, the two set up camp again. Desco was in her sleeping bag, lying awake. Guu sat around the campfire, poking it with a stick.
“Guu?” Desco asked.
“Yes?” Guu responded, barely looking up from the flames.
“He’s gonna come back, right?”
There was a brief bit of silence before Guu responded.
“Yeah, according to the Dataverse, Primes always get resurrected.”
Another long pause between the two.
“Ok, good. Desco glad.” Desco said, rolling over in her sleeping bag.

Guu waited until she heard Desco’s gentle snoring. Throwing the stick into the fire, she pulled out her dataverse device. After a few minutes of looking at a blank screen, she slowly wrote something up. She submits the text, which turns out to be an e-mail.
Giving Desco one more glance, she stands up and suddenly walks off into the night, leaving Desco alone to her dreams.

Guu's e-mail to Desco

"Come on Desco, let's go!" Fuka motioned Desco to follow which she did. Desco had no idea how she had gotten hear but it felt right, so she went along with what was going on. Fuka whipped out her bat and pointed it at Axel who had suddenly shown up. "We have come to usurp your regime, Axel! Prepare to lose to Me and Desco" Axel stepped back, obviously frightened of the pair. "H-hold on you can't do this, I'm President Axel!" "Get 'em Desco!" "Yes~. Desco is dispatching!"

Desco summoned Yogsothoth in an instant with her tail pushing her up to center her body on his. Then she floated up into the air quite a bit and darkness surrounded her body and Yogsothoth, Merging the two and growing bigger and bigger until she was a 40 foot tall Yogsothoth with eyes moved to the end of each tentacle and one looking down which covered the center top of the abomination while the center mass was now an open giant red maw. "Bow down and worship me Cretin, for I am DESCO!" Desco roared with such ferocity that the ground shook and she started extending out four tentacles in different directions. They moved through the air and along the ground, each clamping down on Axel's limbs to hold him in place. "Hahahaa!" She bent inward and a complex pattern of star magic started to focus onto her mouth...

Desco awoke to a vibration on her chest. She stirred and turned over on her back, stretching out her arms and tail. She yawned as she felt for the device that had vibrated, her data verse device. She looked and saw that she had an Email. Desco never had an email before except from Daddy, so she quickly opened it and started reading. It would seem that Guu wanted to head out by herself. It made Desco a little sad that she would miss her along with Nyes, so she typed up a quick reply to Guu and turned it off.

Now Desco was not sure what to so. Without anyone else to guide her, she had to think up of something. She wanted to become steonger, so she'll try that but how? Desco decided that she wanted some help, so she concentrated her OM again and resume ones the Prinnies she had summoned before. She didn't know the mechanics behind it at all, but it worked and the same three Prinnies had come. "Oh its Desco again Dood." "Next time Dood we need to have some money so they don't throw us out Dood, they wouldn't listen when we said that we would explode.""Yea Dood..." The Prinnies seemed to recall the events that had killed them after they parted Desco.

"Hi Prinnies! We need to find a new adventure to go on and find ways to make Desco stronger." Desco pointed off towards, well, outside. "Let's go find the gate!" "Do you know which direction it is Dood?" Desco got a worried look on her face and put her hand down. "Uh... Desco doesn't know where to go..." "That isn't a surprise Dood, you've been here for a while and I doubt you kept track of where you were." "I believe I can help you Desco!" "Daddy?" Desco looked around, before she realized that he had contacted her on her communicator. Desco pulled it out and looked at it, seeing her father on the other side. "Of course my daughter! Just turn around and go straight, you'll find a path. Go right and follow the path and you should find yourself at the gate. Just keep following it!" Desco smiled to the communicator and nodded. "Thanks Daddy!" "Of course, of course, anything for one of my daughters. Good luck! Daddy has to get back to work." "Bye Daddy!"

Back in the Pale Moors, Mao found himself pacing back and forth considering what to do about the situation. He had killed one of his potential new subjects, but that was no matter for he preferred it this way somehow. If that guy had taken Mao's offer, he wouldn't have had all the joys of making the mistakes along the way. He was ticked that he had lost that source of information, but this more natural method of discovering the secrets of Hollowfication by experimenting on everything he could in every way he could think of. He hadn't hit a wall yet, there were still many things he could do with these Hollows, he still had to figure out how to reverse the process. He started to breathe heavily as he considered the subject "Ahhahahaha! Next time my targets, next time you will be mine!" Mao spoke to no one in particular as he was alone in his room.
