AAAAAAAW YEAH. We got this. With Dawn it'd be triple DM. Just like the good ol' days of the first Secondary Saga.

The Dataverse is certainly the area I'm least familiar with.  I'd play regardless, but I'd vote for any of the others over it.

My vote still goes to the Vasty Deep or Pale Moors, personally.

Pale Moors would be the easiest one for my own Secondary to get to. But I'm sure me and Sammy can figure out how to get to the others.

#44
I don't mind the location. I'm fine with any of the void quests.
#45
I'm gonna go ahead and say there's no way I'll be able to do this. Good luck, everyone!
#46
I'm fine to participate, but I also don't mind sitting out and helping as a Story Guide.

#47
I'll do it!

Ah fuck it i've been ignoring this topic because the first SS was adventurous enough for my likes, but....

How about powers and proficiencies? Do Secondaries even have any?

i remember for the first saga, we had the word count requirement adjusted. i suggest ya do that because the percetage gets higher after 3 people.

Also, plan for this to happen IC over the course of months. I remember we got in trouble last time for progressing too fast IC. We had to introduce a plot device where the characters collectively settled and formed a town for a couple of months. It was quite interesting.

Omni was strict about the IC time thing. I didn't know about the % thing. I will see about getting it reduced too. Thanks Kelsie.

@Blink, We have three people running it already. Myself, Yu Kanda and Senior Failz got this. Thank you for offering your assistance though!

@Vision, Can't trust my word too hard, cause I'm not staff but I believe the answer is no. The basic profile of a secondary consists of a history and their arsenal of 'moves'. I say moves because secondaries can weild magic. The basic idea is this: Make a secondary more mundane than a Prime. If they have a rare sword or an expensive gun or can weild magic - explain why they are capable of such feats or how the acquired the item. If they have experience in fighting, why do they have that? Were they in service to the King in Camelot? You get the jist, right?

Right, so, just to offer my two cents here. Secondaries can technically have every power and ability a Prime does. The only thing they can't do is use Omnilium to take the shortcut and just 'learn' things. They gotta train for it the old-fashioned way. They can have all kinds of crazy powers, so no need to treat them like the Johnny Normal squad with no powers and being able to do a little magic or know how to fight being the exception or something big and special.

What we did last time was just set up a vague idea of their abilities and such, comparable to about a level 1 prime character.

Agreed. Most adventuring or soldiering Secondaries are gonna be roughly equivalent to a level 1 Prime.

#55
Considering a good number of secondaries that survive the trip will become primes, it's best to think along level 1 lines. I had to downgrade Raw Onion when I submitted her as an NPC Prime.

Pass.

Just to reiterate what I told Dawn, all I care about is that you guys hit the necessarily epic word count requirement (it's 33% less on quests per person when grouped, so 13,333-26,666 per person who actually makes it to the Void) and that it takes weeks/months IC. That shit should not be easy. This became a problem late in the last saga when I was like "wait, they got through the Tangled Green in a few days?!"
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

I'm much more inclined to a silent hill quest, but vasty deeps also sounds exciting. Im down to either

I'm already doing the silent Hill star piece quest so I'd rather not.

Okay, so I forgot to update. Kanda, Shawn and I agree that the Dataverse's gate quest would be extremely tough to manage. It is out of the option for this SS. Sorry guys, you'll have to choose another verse. The count leaves the Vasty and the Moors the highest on our want list. I do not discourage you from picking the verse you want though. Bandwagoning is baaaaad.
