Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP)
Can you receive multiple OM bonuses at the same time? Quest and Participation (for two people working together to complete said quest.) Not asking if these bonuses stack, just if you can receive bonuses from two sources on the same thread - to be clear.

Quests are not valid entries for either the participation reward or for exceptional writing bonuses. You're already getting free OM from completing the quest.:pac:
If history is to become legend, it first must be recorded.
^As an addition to the above, participation rewards are "baked in" to the word count requirements, by lowering the per-person requirements if you've got 2 or more participants:

Quote:If two people are participating in a quest, the word requirements should increase by 33% (so if the quest requires 10,000-20,000 words, it requires a total ~13,333-26,666 words between two people). For each extra person after that, add 66% of the word count requirement (so three people requires 20,000-40,000 words total, four people requires ~26,666-53,333 total, etc). These requirements may then be fulfilled as a group, and each member will receive the rewards individually.

Would it be possible to create a move that drastically reduces the time needed for Insight to take full effect?
Say it became very obvious that you were using Insight on someone, like shining a spotlight while you stare at them.
Not much use in combat but would this be allowed?

"There is much to learn about this world."

That seems fair, even in combat.

I've tried things similar to that ideal with limited success.

Insight has a secondary use which when you speed it up makes it immensely powerful in combat. If you Insight your opponent you can Mimic their powers/moves you haven't seen.

Insighting 'instantaneously' is going to a super move at minimum.

But there is no way to 'really' know until you propose the move and drawbacks.

Then again maybe I'm wrong Tongue.
How far would one be allowed to take a character with photographic memory (remembering something in great detail after brief exposure to it)? As an example, would it be acceptable for a character to remember the contents of a book or document that they skimmed over, or the detailed appearance of an individual after only seeing them briefly, even months after the exposure?

Your character would, at the very least, have to focus on what they want to remember. If they skim a book, they will remember the parts they read, not the whole thing. Same thing goes for remembering people and what they look like. Even people with photographic memory have to actually pay attention initially.
What's the general rule of thumb for time skips outside of combat, quest, or travel situations? For example, brushing over a week and having a character just read a bunch of books and such, or do a generic training montage in the middle of nowhere, etc. What about doing generic soldier or officer things should they get a job like that (for example, if you're leaving a character on "cooldown" for a while and want to imply they're still doing generic stuff so they don't just remain frozen in time but you don't want to have to focus on them).

Liquid Time Flow, literally frozen in time is an option.

I don't think there are issues if you want to generically pass time but time actually stopping while your character is not being played is canon here.
I saw that, but it doesn't say anything about speeding up time. Just slowing it down during battles and such. Which is why I wanted a clarification. Could I brush over a week of reading books IC in 1 OOC day of rp? Or would I have to wait a week OOC?
Passing time like that wouldn't typically give you any kind of real advantage so it shouldn't be a problem unless passing that time was somehow important in a PvP context. (IE: Spending three weeks of time in one post in one sentence doesn't actually make things more difficult for someone hunting your bounty. On the same note spending three weeks decoding an encrypted message in one sentence doesn't carry significant meaning to hunting a bounty).

I don't recommend trying to spend 'years' in character, there would be a limit if you try to test that kind of time passage.
Passing weeks in the duration of a single post is fine and something I've done before (see Samus's Fast Times or Enel's Operation Desert Storm). If you've been actively posting a lot, it might be weird to do this, but it makes sense if you don't post often or you're AFK, since each year OOC is supposed to match a year IC (though a Prime might not experience a whole year due to time dilation, the Omniverse in general does follow a loose annual structure).

Avoid drafting if possible. It messes with your Rest Points and may deduct them without giving you OM for it.

How does one limit the size of the images I post? Is it possible to enter variables into the link/bbcode command itself or do I have to find images of the proper size?

You could use a service like imgur to resize the images if you don't have something like Photoshop.

I was merely inquiring about any such features being contained "on site". But thank you for informing me.
