[Omni]

"You've forgotten a few things," said Omni. "Even back in your world. It was rather a shame that you died without ever really knowing, so ... consider this your second chance. You'll remember everything. About your parents, about your ... other childhood. Consider this a gift for making it this far. For indulging me." He extended a hand.

[Caira Ayryn]

Other childhood? What kind of nonsense was that? Just before Caira could muster up the courage to get out of there, quick, Omni's palm made contact with her forehead. The girl blacked out for a moment, but when she came to, she found herself shocked, horrified, and unable to shake the sick churning in her stomach. Her eyes, luminously purple, now remained on her hands, as she flexed and analyzed every crinkle, she saw with knew eyes, and in turn, remembered the secrets of her past.

Her parents... Her escape from them, and her other last name, one defiled by murder and fear, Caira could have spat, she was so shocked, and thought about her two timelines as the fog around her thoughts lifted. She had answers, but now, of course, they only asked more questions. Caira couldn't help to look back up to Omni, her eyes glowing with brilliant yet tearful. "Why me?" she realized this was rather vague and corrected herself, "Why was I chosen to come to this world?"

[Omni]

"Like I said, I wanted to give you a second chance." And he grinned. "Truly, you seemed entertaining, and it seemed a shame to let you die there."

[Caira Ayryn]

Caira seemed a bit taken aback, "So that's why I'm here? Because it simply suited you for me to live?"

[Omni]

Omni flashed his cheekiest grin, palms upward.

[Caira Ayryn]

Caira next asked the obvious question, "Can I.. Leave? I mean. Not that I'd want to, this is a pretty nice place compared with the universe I came from, but one gets homesick and longs to see familiar faces." Caira looked intently at Omni's hard to read expression and wondered if he ever got homesick too. Maybe she would ask it, but the question hung hesitantly on the tip of her tongue.

[Omni]

"Of course. I mean, you're free to head back the way you came, or ... I can send you somewhere. How about a nice peaceful island in the Deeps? Sun, the ocean breeze, and a few dinosaurs for food."

[Caira Ayryn]

She grinned now. "Oh no! You're not getting rid of me that easily, I'd like to stay a bit longer... If you don't mind. The Vasty Deeps though, that's the... Verse with the islands, right? Do you create these places, or do you find them, like in the same way that you found me?"

[Omni]

Omni sucked on his slurpee. "Blueberry." Before putting it back to nowhere. "A bit of both, to be honest," he continued. "Same as how I make you guys. I'm not very original, so I need to take inspiration from worlds afar. I mash 'em all together, wind up the pieces and ... watch my world unfold. It's very entertaining!"

[Caira Ayryn]

"That does sound amazing!" The idea that there were many worlds had never occurred to Caira until she had arrived in the Omniverse, and now, hearing Omni himself confirm this, was marvelous indeed. Caira took the time to appreciate this moment as she watched his colorless lips meet the straw without a struggle, despite his lack of eyes. So even Omni eats... "Hey, where'd that go?"

[Omni]

"Where'd what go?" He took a slurp. "Mm, red."

[Caira Ayryn]

"Red, like the color? Is that a flavor?" She thought out loud before speaking, "And uh..." The knight wasn't sure how to answer what seemed to be one of the only questions Omni had asked her.

[Omni]

Omni stared at the slurpee. "I think so. But it's specific to these things. It tastes ... red. Flavour." After some apparent thought, he threw it away, though it never landed anywhere in the room.

[Caira Ayryn]

Caira wondered what the flavor 'red' was, and tried to associate it with the color before she saw the drink's container perpetuate into the air, and as though it was lost in her blink, she looked curious at where she presumed it would have landed.

Her first thought was the void, and how logic didn't make sense there. Was it worth wasting Omni's time to press the topic? The curiosity was so insatiable, Caira chose to. "See that! Just there!" the girl exclaimed, "Where'd it go..."

[Omni]

"Uhh, you're holding it." Omni pointed at Caira's hand. She was indeed holding the slurpee.

[Caira Ayryn]

"Oh my!... Cool," she exclaimed and her eyes hung on Omni's eyeless face as she decided to take a sip through the straw.

[Caira Ayryn]

A gush of a peculiarly sweet taste burst in her mouth. The girl blinked in surprise as her mouth formed a new inquiry, "So Omni, what's your favorite color?"

[Omni]

"...Blue."

[Caira Ayryn]

Her eyes trailed to the side, she pursed her lips, "Noted. The secondaries here, are you interested in them too? What would happen if they ever tried to leave?"

[Omni]

Omni tipped his head on one side. "Elaborate."
