About 45 minutes left in the Day.

The town was abuzz with talk. Some people thought the threat was legitimate and were eager to kill someone... ANYONE just for the chance at eliminating the threat. Others seemed to be taking the situation with a grain of salt. At the end of the day, no one could decide who might be a member of the Mafia and therefore worth lynching. As the sun went down, the people made to return home. However, a shocked scream sent the entire town to a side-alley near to the Town Hall.

Within this concealed area, they came across three motionless forms. King Axorn, the draconian monarch was slumped against the wall, the blood which had drained from his chest wound dried and brown. However, it was the other two bodies which truly drew the attention of the crowd. Carn_Val, the strange ebony kid with the appetite lay underneath the body of the green warrior, Retane. All around, signs of struggle were evident, from toppled trash-cans to the blood stains splattered all about.

As they pulled Retane's limp form from atop Carn_Val, they were able to find the source of each of their deaths. A large, ugly slash ripped the Namekian's neck from side to side, giving Retane a sinister second smile. In Carn's hand was the culprit, a bloodied switchblade. The smaller corpse showed bruises around his own throat, and it took two of the townspeople to pry his hands from Carn's throat. As they did so, they noticed a strange note in Carn's pocket and upon inspecting it they found the following written.

"Carn_Val. You are being activated as a Mafioso within the town of Omniville. Bring it under our control using any means necessary. Sincerely: The Boss."

A few hours later, the townspeople were finally able to return home after the carnage was cleaned up. Maybe now the seriousness of the situation would finally be driven home to them.

King Axorn, Retane, and Carn_Val are killed due to inactivity.
