Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP)
Sp is reset after every battle correct? or does it take time to regen?

"While shooting concentrate your mind, gently muttering the spell to the Mini-Hakkero. Aiming at someone you don't like, a magicannon of love will be unleashed!"
Like Damage, it takes time to regenerate. As long as a few OOC days pass, you're fine though. Mostly just influences back-to-back fights.

Just as an FYI.

You can have any amount of secondaries. It's Prime NPC's that are limited. And the maximum level of your Prime NPC's are limited to your character level. At level 1 the max level you can make an NPC Prime is level 5. So you can spend something around 22,000 OM to create an NPC Prime.

Without approval, you should not summon more than five secondaries per your Prime's level.

Per the Rules.

Per the rules, that's fucking new. I've never read that before. Good thing I'm level 4.

That's been a rule for... oh, I dunno. Awhile. At least since I stopped being Staff.

That can't be right. I've re-read that shit 50 times.

Not that I'm in violation, but...

Note that summoning =/= having or meeting.
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

Just for the sake of clarification, can you elaborate on what you mean?

You mean that if Trixie were to summon secondaries she can only have 40? But I can create an unlimited amount to interact with?

Meaning random shopkeep doesn't count. Stormtroopers belonging to Palps don't count. Just ones you personally use. For example, if Trixie wants to form a Stormtrooper squadron under her command.

So, Luna, Meredith, Aisha, Fiona, and Bardan Jaxx all count?

Okay...yeah. Never knew this.

K. The more you know.

It's even looser than that. It means only secondaries your character has summoned count towards that particular limit.

If I am using a VR station to enter the Dataverse and my character has an artifact on them, can they use the artifact as they could in the "physical" Omniverse? And can they lose that artifact if they lose a battle?

VR station? No and no. Only if you physically enter.

If I use a consumable item outside a battle or quest, is that item used up?

Like, obviously a warp whistle would be used up, but what if I take a protein pill to make climbing a hill easier and it's just some regular non-staff judged storyline?

I'm gonna say if there's no competitive element involved and it's not a quest, sure. I'll add this to the FAQ.

Edited a bit. Here's the final ruling:

Q39: If I use a consumable item outside a battle or quest, is that item used up?
A: No, with the exception of Warp Whistles and temporary-power items. If you just want to use a Protein Pill to make climbing a hill easier, and that helps you in your story somehow ... then go for it. You shouldn't be doing this every post or in large quantities.

Do you require Flight for feather-fall after a super jump? Basically to increase air time, but never height. The way I'd like to use it is basically to linger in the air longer, avoid non-Move based fall damage, etc. It would not allow gliding, it's specifically to fall slower. If anything, it would slow forward motion.

Would you need the Phasing power for any sort of move that would pierce or otherwise move through things (like a laser that can go through walls/enemies)?

Nope, just a move.
