Reincarnation I
#14
If anything, the speech left Chakravartin at a far lesser standing than before. For now, the ronin held his tongue. A man that made rules but did not abide them was scum. Pathetic, with the wrong kind of power - often that he did not deserve, or even earn perhaps. Takezo often made his fun by cutting down such pathetic excuse for men. Perhaps one day, Chakravartin would be one of the many to fall by his sword.

For now though, this was the end of their meeting. Chakravartin, the far fallen god, and the 'lowly' human picked their paths and continued on. The ronin would hunt him down later, Chakravartin was well aware of this. Their battle was postponed for now, but it was not over. Now Takezo had more than just an unfinished game as his reasoning, but a rivalry that the Fist of God had unwillingly created.

Who was he to try and recruit Takezo? Chakravartin was not the Strongest Prime, so he could not offer training. No, he simply wanted to use Takezo as a tool. The swordsman's features sour at the very thought. He would get nothing from such a fealty. Even if he were promised something, the child-god had said he did not follow his own code of honor. It was laughable.

Actually, it was quite funny. As Takezo stride towards a random gate, he chuckled. "Fealty to a false god... I think not..."
