Once again, the insect-like creature slipped out of their grasp, slithering its way through the narrow alleyway that was located just off to the side. The maid bit her lip nervously. Even injured and outnumbered, this foe was proving himself to be a considerable adversary. She could not even imagine how difficult this situation would have been had it been at its full strength.
'It's too narrow for us to pursue it directly! We should circle around the buildings and-' Tamsin began to speak, making an attempt to formulate a new tactic.
But the ball of fury that was her white-haired companion merely snarled at that proposition: 'Fuck that! We're busting our way through!' Unwilling to entertain any alternatives, the now demonic girl charged ahead, flailing her empowered arms in the process. Her companions could only watch as the living icebreaker plowed through walls on both sides, her pursuit seemingly almost undeterred by the obstacle. Tamsin and Jak exchanged glances before taking advantage of the wider gap to follow suit.
The short man running alongside the servant bobbed his head in a regular rhythm, responding to the earbug that had been plaguing him: 'It's fun to stay at the Y.M.O.A.....it's fun to stay at the Y.M.O.A....' The maid merely shook her head at that, though more at herself than her comrade. She pondered if there had been some strange power at play — akin to the one wielded by the hellish fairy Clownpiece — that had compelled her to get her groove on in a situation like this.
Hastily navigating the debris of bricks and steel, the pursuing group reached the street on the other side. Despite the valiant effort it had been putting up, the bioroid's considerable injuries were beginning to work against it. Traces of its purple life fluid stained the concrete, tipping its hunters as to the direction it had fled. Further invigorated by the sight of her prey's blood, Erika continued to charge forth, Jak following close by. The silver-haired girl was intent on doing the same, but just as she was about to move, she noticed the alien hiding in the shadows of a nearby alleyway.
'Over here!' Tamsin shouted as she switched directions, throwing one of her daggers at it. But as soon as it impacted the target, it vanished, revealing itself for the deception that it is. The maid went wide-eyed, but before she could look for where the bioroid was actually located, she felt searing pain as a ki blast slammed into her side.
Emerging from its real cover, Cell used the distraction to go into a stance. 'Ssssurrpriiiiiise!' he exclaimed as he unleashed a series of rapid blows at the servant. Despite only being able to utilise two of its appendages for this purpose, it still managed to unleash a devastating assault on its distracted prey. However, Suzaku was rapid enough in her response. Drawing her curved knives, she managed to redirect most of the strikes away from her, evading most of the harm.
Her companions were quick to reinforce her. Shooting his blaster, Jak forced the green alien to pull away from the target of his ambush. Shruging in disappointment, Cell turned to run away from the scene. But before it could do so, it felt something grab it by the leg. With a malevolent grin, Erika effortlessly threw the insect-like creature through the window of the nearby cafe before slamming into the wall and resuming her angry pursuit.
