The group of three were hot in pursuit of the annoyingly fast bug. Erika couldn't keep up with him no matter how hard she tried. In attempt to slow him down, even a little, she reached for her pistol on her thigh and began to fire a few bullets. None of which hit, but she wasn't exactly aiming for a kill shot, just anything to slow him down.
The magazine fell to the ground with a light, metallic clang and another click sounded a new one in her chamber. Cell had proved illusive in evading her shots and was still doing his best to get away from the fight. Naturally, Erika was becoming pissed.
“Get back here and face me, you fucking coward!” She bellowed angrily at him.
“Let me think on that offer girl,” He responded and without even giving time to think, he also replied with: “No thankss, I rather like being alive.”
Erika was being pushed off the edge now. Handling mockery was not something she was good at coping with.
“You asked for it, overgrown beetle!” She screamed. Tamsin and Jak caught sight of Erika just long enough to see her hair color changing slowly to silver, her eyes gleaming crimson behind a curtain of sparkling white. The steel bullet slingers on her back disappeared with the changes in clothing. “You aren't leaving so easily.”
With a movement an eye could barely follow, she jolted forward. The green alien could feel her movements getting closer and closer over the seconds, weaving between buildings in attempt to lose her. She was just as fast him though, which made it tough to lose her, but she wasn’t necessarily gaining on him either.
Cell made his way through the fog, beaming through alleyways and street paths in hideous attempt to lose the silver-haired assassin. Seeing as how he wasn’t going to last much longer if he kept just running, he charged into a building, hurrying through the corridors to find a place to at least catch his breath.
Erika followed, her long white hair waving behind her like a glorious cape. She had already lost sight of Cell, but that wasn’t going to stop her from finding him again. He wasn’t far and didn't have much if a place to run to inside this office building.
The arrogant alien had taken refuge in an office room on the second floor of the building. He tried desperately to catch his breath as Erika’s footsteps came up the nearby stairway. He could hear her voice mumbling to herself, probably whispering some swear words in frustrated anger.
“I know you’re here, bug. Do what you were made for and come get squashed on.” She called out attempting to get his attention and draw him out. That statement had stricken Cell in all the wrong ways. If was at full power, or even just less wounded he would crush all three of his pursuers without effort. Frankly it would have been boring.
Finally he had caught his breath. He just needed a second long enough to get a running start on his opposer. He took a step revealing himself from the doorway of the office room which led into the open area surrounded by desks that separated the two and called her out.
“If you want me, come get me.” Golden glows emitted from Cell’s good hand. While he couldn’t use the severed hand, he should still be able to let off enough attacks.
As soon as Cell revealed himself, a dark energy radiated around his enemy. They released attacks simultaneously. A black beam of energy erupted from Erika’s appendage while Cell’s ki blasts went careening for her face. Cell barely ducked under the beam as it reached him, reminding him of something like a Kamehameha if only they were black. The five or so Ki Blasts he had sent flying towards Erika hit home and just as she recovered the attacks, Cell was dropping from the second floor of the office building back into the streets of the city. Where Jak and Tamsin awaited him. More ki fired from his hand to distract them until he hit the ground. Jak returned fire while the knife thrower did what her title entailed. When the alien finally hit the ground, he continued his escape, Erika way in the back of the line now. He was too crafty for her but that wasn't stopping her from getting her payment from Renji. She jumped from the second story of the building and continued pursuit, slowly catching up to the others.
