Rejoining the group after Dust's departure, the maid still felt somewhat stunned, her hand occasionally reaching up to her lightly trembling lips. They were moist, the Contractor's taste still lingering from the impromptu contact with him. He called her enchanting...During the brief time they had traveled together, she had certainly considered his behaviour unusual. But never did it occur to her that he had such reasons for his shy and reserved attitude. The idea that she had elicited such an intense and passionate response from the man, particularly in these circumstances...
Unfortunately for the servant, her mental distress did not go unnoticed. Their de facto leader was the first to notice her return. Upon witnessing her flushed expression, Gildarts offered a wide and devious grin: 'Something the matter?'
Her body practically shooting up in alert, Tamsin offered a rushed and poorly-veiled response: 'N-nothing! Nothing!' Still feeling incredibly self-conscious after the incident, speaking with the charismatic redhead did her little favours. In fact, all too quickly, it became unclear to her whether it was the handsome lech's stolen kiss or the playful attitude of the magnetic mage that was bringing out the red on her visage.

But the affair had slipped out of her thoughts not long after as the realities of the competition came crashing upon all of them once more. Their tactical manoeuvring had brought Tamsin and her companions face-to-face with an unusual life form, which was wounded, but no less dangerous. The biodroid reminded her of the Arlians, bug-like creatures from her own universe, who had also created the pendant wrapped around her neck. Yet, even with her limited knowledge of the race, she could tell that this alien entity was not one of them.
'What the fuck are you two doing?! Don't just stand there! Move your asses after it!' exclaimed the angry blonde as she bolted after the creature. For his part, the enigmatic Jak merely sighed and followed suit. Tamsin hesitated, uncertain if she truly wanted to engage in this manhunt. However, her improptu companions had offered her assistance and shelter when she needed it. Plus, it was evident that the creature would pose a great danger to them if left unchecked. Pushing through her discomfort, the silver-haired girl then gave chase as well.
As their target moved at a blistering pace, the trio's pursuit quickly turned into a confusing game of cat and mouse, all of them doing their best to navigate the urban maze by memory in an attempt to catch up to it. But that was not the sole thing lingering on the maid's mind. Though she had only briefly witnessed its fighting style, the way the bioroid fought struck her as incredibly familiar. There was a distinctiveness to its moveset and pose that elicited a very strong sense of deja vu.
'E-excuse me! Are you from-?' the servant asked aloud after their prey, unsure even herself as to why she was inquiring about this matter at such a time. But the reply came in the form of an empty can, that she barely evaded with her head. 'This ain't time for a tourist infomercial, girlie!' responded the sarcastic creature, apparently realising what she had attempted to ask.
Gritting her teeth, the young woman responded with one of her throwing knives, the weapons returning to her hand in response to her telekinesis.
