Ice Bear headed home after being told the mission. He was determined to do this quest. It was the first major outing of his since dropping off Rina's package, and this was going to be potentially much bigger than that. He must pack and make haste when the appointed hour arrived.
He packed a fire extinguisher into his bag, and strapped his axe to it, and still had room left over. He did a few tests. First he made sure he could get to the fire extinguisher to and from his backpack. It was hard at first, but eventually he got a working motion on getting the fire extinguisher. He then did the same with his fire axe. He lifted his fridge up and down too... getting a good workout.
He tried his acrobatics. He needed to be make sure he was in tip-top shape for the quest.
Ice Bear summoned a pocket fan. He figured he'd need it for the trip. He plugged it into the outlet to charge.
He was admittedly shaken at the fact Guu was a creepy... whatever she was. Alphys showing him that video was definitely traumatic. Still, he must realize that there was more to people than meets the eye, and people seemed to love Guu despite her crazy appearances and forms. He shouldn't judge her based on that alone. That'd be very rude.
Grabbing the pocket fan, he stepped outside, went across the street to the bear couple's home. He knocked on the door. Dan answered.
"Hey bro, what's up?"
Ice Bear waved. "Ice Bear will be going on quest. Please watch Ice Bear house."
Dan looked at Ice Bear's cave. "Sure thing! Whatcha doing on this quest?"
Ice Bear shrugged. "Ice Bear cannot tell. Ice Bear will emerge victorious. Happy and glorious." he said, holding his arms up. "Ice Bear will be leaving now. Say hi to Bob for Ice Bear."
Ice Bear trekked back to the palace, sitting on the usual resting place outside. He sat and waited as it turned evening. He decided to catch up on world events on his Dataverse device.
"Now the weather across The Tangled Greens..." the meteorologist said as Ice Bear waited for the others.
