Zone B -- Forest
Completely oblivious to the possibility that he may have earned a slight bit of respect from the haughty elf, Dust moved in. He was no stranger to taking the front but held his breath hoping to be spared by whatever monstrosities Illidan had in mind.

As the fit male elf charged up something static and green for the fight, Dust had a hard time ignoring the raw power that was building behind him. His attention was torn between the distraction he couldn't see and what he would have to face. With his wits still about him, he focused on the fairy. He aimed to finish this, but almost tripped over the bomb she launched and an invisible force continued to slide under the ball and bunt it back towards its owner. A second later Crino's own attack pelted her with the ice chunks.

Dust came to a stop, his posture perfect and his gray eyes solid as they watched the coating of ice layer over her like a blanket over a sleeping child. So close now, his heavy breath could be seen in thick clouds that heaved from his jaw as he stood there and watched. The child-like being used what little strength she had to scream at them, threaten them! Only to beg for their mercy, not wanting to die but if she had to to make it quick... She stared at them as her knees trembled under her weight and her breathing grew rough.

He took a half step away as Cirno strained and rose to her feet, her eyes told him she had a lot more to bring to the game, but he had witnessed exhausted heroes before fight weakly till their dying breath. Unlike then, he could take in the image of this little girl and form an opinion. Hokori felt his heart squeeze out a sliver of admiration and with it, guilt. The contractor knew what he was supposed to be doing on this island, this was a competition! They were primes, death meant next to nothing, but that did very little to make it easier because it wasn't about death or winning, but about upholding who he was.

It was times like this that reminded him that despite everything, he was human. He glanced down at the blood on his fingertips, not feeling an ounce of remorse for what he was doing, but a pinch of guilt for what would come next.

Illidan could not see the face of the man who was glancing back at him, but he felt the question hanging in the air just the same. The hesitation that might have been redeemable in anyone else's eyes, Illidan saw as weakness. Dust's weakness. The same man who saved Illidan wanted to spare their enemy.

In a flash of dominance, Illidan flicked his hand and cast Push on the small fairy once more. She was flung up into the air and knocked back into the closest tree behind her. Spikes of ice stuck out from the tree's bark like the glass spines of a porcupine, all from the ice bomb that had previously blown up in her face. Her body was both impaled and pinned by multiple cold spearheads and out of the holes, blood began to flow endlessly. It was an act of anger and impatience on the Betrayer's part; Dust only turned his head slightly in submission as she screamed out in anguish.

"I will give you your swift death, fey, but you will not leave this island alive," Illidan spoke darkly with the intention of nipping the problem quickly, lifting his hand which was already charging a Felfire Bolt.

Dust was no fool. No matter how much he wanted to argue with Illidan that she was just a girl and that they didn't have to kill her, for mercy's sake they could spare her but it would be suicide to anger the dark elf while he was on a rampage. He was pent up with rage and adding another tally to his presumed kill count wasn't Dust's best plan. At least she wouldn't suffer. He raised his claws into the air with every intention to strike her down swiftly. A well-placed claw between her rib cage or the eyes should do it.
