Zone E -- Highlands

[Tearen Wover]

It had just been a quick stop in the Zone E Safehouse. Tearen wasn't sure what he should be expecting for the accommodations, but he ended up being pleasantly surprised. It certainly wasn't a luxury hideaway by any measure, but it was well stocked with food and other provisions that his human body appreciated, least of all a cot. Tearen had taken a quick nap, allowing himself to fall asleep while going over available intelligence on other contestants. He had to assume that Cell and Archer were going to try and make a grab for the item drop in E4, based on their erratic movement.

He would have to get in touch with the bug if they got too close. He didn't want to waste more energy on sending them packing, especially now that he was back at full power. The elder Prime also kept flipping over to the Colosseum stream to see if anyone had moved yet, but it seemed like the time dilation between the arena in the sky and the island was rather extreme. All the combatants had slowly sunk into ready stances over the course of the few hours it had taken Tearen to ascend to the Safehouse, but past that, nothing had happened yet.

So, after his nap, he felt at liberty to take a quick shower and fix some dinner. He missed Malon's kitchen banter already; the girl truly had a talent for making delightful cuisine from slim pickings. In time, he was due to keep moving north. A sense of loneliness was brewing within his gut, and he did his best to keep himself distracted by mental exercises and meditative walking.

Tearen didn't pay much attention to the scenery; when you have memories of being omnipresent, some things just cease to be spectacular.
