The Sage glanced at what he assumed was the Danteverses’s version of the sun, staring down at the island with a kind of ambivalence that the Sage felt was ironic given the amount of importance that the fans and contestants placed on the outcome of the island’s proceedings. He squinted, the day was progressing quickly, he would need to find a good location to spend the night, one that was more secluded than the campfire he had slept next to the night before. The Sage found himself again disheartened by the sheer size of the mountains that scaled up before him. He could only assume an igneous origin to the island, given its scale and the size of the peaks before him.
That was of course assuming that the island was not created by Omnilium directly. By all accounts Karl Jak had a vast wealth of the stuff at his disposal. Not enough to rival such primes as Aragorn or the Emperor, but certainly enough that such a construction was not beyond his capabilities, was it? The Sage had to admit to himself that he did not know how Omnilium summoning worked when approached on the scale of something like an island. He could only imagine the scale of the necessary power, with that amount of pure energy at their disposal, it was not the slightest bit hard to see how they could become so arrogant and confident in their positions.
The Sage made a mental note to do some research on the subject, though he felt quite confident that the information would not be easy to come by. He would need either friends inside the empire, or friends who knew how to work from inside the empire.
