We ran through the forest as quickly as we could. This was dumb. If there was anyone directly ahead of us, we were screwed. But, there shouldn't be. Anyone following us would be further south. Hopefully, if we kept pushing east and north we'd be able to make it around them. Or maybe I was just running away from ghosts or something dumb. Either way, Team Dane™ was going to do a cool, super calculated, thing. And hopefully not get killed. We were out of the death zone now, so I didn't have that edge. People could and would happily attack us. I'd be able to run, potentially. I just didn't want that to happen. Cirno would just get frustrated if we did. And I sure as hell wasn't going to leave her behind to fight everyone. That was a recipe for disaster.
I hacked away at a hanging vine. I was ahead of Cirno so I made an effort to clear the way. There was shrubbery covering the floor and the air was damp. Progress was difficult. Turning my head I noticed a slight trail of ice following us. It would melt in minutes, but minutes could be too long. It was a trail leading right towards us.
"Cirno, stop freezing everything. This will only work if they don't know exactly where we are. Our general location is fine. But any more and this will fail."
"Okay. Sorry. I'm just getting so hot."
"Just, do your best." I slowed my pace down to a more relaxed jog, having reached a very dense collection of leaves. After some slices, they fell to the ground. Then I realised my mistake. That was yet another trail. I was stupid. I removed my invisibility temporarily. "Hop on my back Cirno, we're moving in the trees."

Dane is jumping from tree to tree, with Cirno on his back. Yes, the invisibility is mostly useless and Cirno probably looks like she's floating.
