No. You get a reward if you win, but the buy-in is money spent.

However BETTING ENDS, and anyone who's not spend the buy-in on their log can no longer place a bet. Don't want people waiting to see whether their chosen candidate is winning or not.

Vision, you didn't state who you were betting for in your log, it just says "betting ticket", so I can't accept that I'm afraid.
