Ice Bear wandered a bit, and realizing that he was going to need to find directions sooner than later, he overcame his fear of talking to people and asked a random human who happened to be walking by in his typical, blunt manner where to go.
"Ice Bear requires directions to suitable settlement." He spoke, in a monotone, but not unpleasant manner.
The human jumped a bit, not used to seeing walking talking polar bears. The human carefully replied - pointing Ice Bear to the Tangled Nexus Gate. The human was shaking in fear. Ice Bear is one of the most dangerous mammals on the planet Earth, after all.
Ice Bear had gotten used to temperate climates, but he'd need to find a way to chill out later. That was not his primary goal right now. Just finding some place to call home away from home was his primary goal.
Ice Bear nodded and just walked away from the human. Ice Bear was in a hurry.
He approached the Tangled Nexus Gate. He decided to walk through it. It was easier to cross through this gate than any toll-booth in San Francisco. At least he had that going for him.
Finally he could begin his new journey.
