What Now?

First, I can now focus more on Boba Fett's mission with Jaixe in Coruscant. Once he is a little more established, I plan to start hunting PC bounties. So if you are looking for a little more PvP combat, please feel free to cause trouble for the Empire and others with OM to burn.

Second, I am going to plan out the next leg of Odin's quest to find the runes of the Omniverse. He found the rune of memory beneath Yggdrasil in the Tangled Green. When he returns to the Omniverse, he will have found the rune of death in his literal death, so expect some new powers from that. He will probably be going to the Frozen Fields next where he will do some truly Scandinavian things: Drinking with dwarves and killing trolls.

Finally, I'm going to share my thoughts on DA. I joined Dante's Abyss to participate in the community, not to win. That being said, yes, I am salty that I was the third one out and managed to get no pick-ups. I do not, however, blame anyone or think I was treated unfairly. I lost a close match to a great writer and a character that was a lot of fun. I also used all my SP and encouraged him to hit me with a super attack by using my own. I went all in against a superior foe, and while it didn't pay off, I think I can be proud of Odin's performance. Crippled and nearly powerless, I tried to slink off in the darkness of (literal) night to a drop everyone seemed to be ignoring.

Enel was having none of it, and he and Vic tracked me down before I could get there. Another gamble that didn't pay off. I wouldn't change my choice though because I had no interest in sitting around in a safehouse waiting to be culled. While I had all but lost before the fight even began, I still enjoyed myself because I got both a chance to grow Odin through his feelings about Ragnorak and a chance to laugh at some genuinely funny points in the fight.

So, I am declaring my time in DA '17 a success. I got to share some scenes with good writers and got Odin's name out there. Only three people this year will get to say they did more.

Tough roll of the dice, bro. I think if you enter next year you will probably do much better!

Sometimes in events like Dante's Abyss, luck plays a factor. The people you run into, or even don't run into, can determine how successful you are in the long-term scheme of things.

My first Dante's Abyss (on another site), I was betrayed by two people I had just allied with, so I can definitely understand any 'saltiness' you might have experienced.

But it sounds like, if nothing else, you were able to have some really cool interactions (even if they were violent lmao). Also, you as a writer, and your character, were able to get some valuable notoriety, which is always awesome.

Hope to see you in more future events.
