I rubbed my forehead, still laughing to myself about the blood-soaked warrior from the preshow. Hopefully, I'd get the chance to meet up with him later, he seemed capable.

The chances are, considering he'd only just started exploring the preshow, he probably hadn't agreed to team up with anyone, unlike the many other packs of people about.
Teaming is for cowards. Boooo.

I shrugged, looking through the bag I was given. Just generic food and a water bottle, a flat rectangular plastic-metal block with a smooth and shiny face, a plastic stick, and a plastic cylinder with glass at the end. I could examine it later. Right now, I wanted to get out of sight. Anyone directly north, south, east or west of me would get an unobstructed line of sight towards me - I seemed to be in the middle of a four-way interception of roads, sandwiched between some very tall buildings. The fog was nice, at least.

Might as well get started now.

I grabbed onto one of the lower window ledges to the side of one of the nearest skyscraper, there looked to be enough handholds higher up, although I considered I may have to redistribute my magic to make the process easier. Still, since I'd been summoned to this place, my general strength seemed to be a lot higher.

It didn't take long to reach the top. I ascended at about walking speed and reaching my destination allowed a good view over a large coastal area. Interesting. I'm sure there was a route to the top from inside, evident by the hatch on the roof, but I didn't want to get caught inside by anyone - it was too confined and I needed at least some space to fight well.

I sat down behind the ledge by the side of the roof, occasionally peering over into the streets while examining my bag's contents.

The stick seemed to be able to attach onto the block, and the cylinder let out a wide beam of light - it might have been more useful if I hadn't already learned and devised spells to do similar things. After more experimentation, I learnt that the device was similar to the Dataverse access panels back at the preshow. It had communication capabilities, and it seemed I could watch or post comments. The communication might be useful, and the notifications specifically for this event would be as well, but why would I bother commenting on all this when I could spend my time actually doing things? Still, the touch activation was interesting. If technology could do all this without magic, it was certainly worth giving Coruscant a shot.

Dammit. We're always too slow. We really wasted our chance just then.

That was annoying. Upon scrolling through the notifications it seemed I was directly next to an item drop. Key emphasis on 'was'. Just a few hundred metres. The locations for the next ones were revealed though. Either in the mountains, lowlands, or a forest. The mountain one was a tad closer, so I figured I'd head there next.

I ducked down and moved away from the ledge. Someone was down there, and I didn't feel like wearing myself out just yet. Luckily, the buildings were mostly close enough that jumping and climbing between them was a perfectly viable option. So that's what I did.
