Dust kept pace all the same, only noting the change of direction after a moment. As the moved into the center of the city, the buildings got more intense in size and sheer volume of the buildings. He glanced around and saw glace windows with all kinds of things behind them. Most looked like offices of small businesses, he saw a barber shop and a pet store; a boutique and a candy shop; a lawyer's office and a antique shop. He gently urged the man to get on the sidewalks, if only to get out of the middle of the streets and out of view as there were no cars to hinder their progress. He smiled at the man's amusing contemplating of how they built things like this. With a light tone and a playful voice, he responds: "These buildings are not made of wood, my friend. They are made of iron and rock, the process is more complicated than stacking logs and filling the gaps with mud, but its similar in a way." He explains, then lets out another laugh. "Hah! But construction is boring! A man like you would rather sink your teeth into modernized weapons, yes? I'll see if Dawn will show you her guns when we see her." He said, making a note to say when and not if. He had a feeling the girl will be fine without them, but hoped she was looking for them just the same.
