Zone B -- Forest
#19
The assassin laid face first in the mud. She was more ill prepared for that teleportation than she had thought. The Syntech employees had given her a bag of items before dropping her into the fray, which she had not time to inspect. She stood slowly, dirtied from the mud she rested in and pulled the sack off her back. Opening the leather satchel she noticed some good things instantly. A tablet with a timeclock on it. She recalled they had to visit safehouse within a certain time or the anklet on her left leg would detonate and send her off the island. How that worked, she would never be able to explain. The tablet also came with a nice map of the island; how kind of her overlords to let her know where she is.

Other contents in the bag proved to be useless. A stick used to hold your phone and tablet to take pictures of yourself. Why would she need something like this? Seeing no use for this item, Dawn took it from her bag and threw it into the mud. Her boot smashed the thin piece of metal in half easily.

With the inspection of her supplies done, the vigilante replaced the bag on her back and looked down at her arm band that served as a Vita Compass. It was pretty simple, follow the area that was lit up in red and think about the person you want to track. Dust was the person she had in mind. If she was lucky, him and Takezo have already found each other. South was where she headed, through the logging camp and a bunch of trees. The brush was thick, proving ever so annoying to the raven haired mercenary. Soon, she had found the edge of the forest, where led to a giant city. Skyscrappers and all that. Felt more like home already, at least, home back on Earth.
