And onward she went, toward her destination. Until she started to reach bigger and bigger buildings, forcing her to abandon her roof hopping. There was just too much height to scale and still keep moving with anything approaching quickness. Not...that she was really sure why she was in such a hurry. She just really didn't like all this fog and stuff. It sucked.
Of course...a smarter mind might have realized that hopping from rooftop to rooftop in such dense fog was a very bad idea. And that running by ground was probably much smarter. Of course, Graowr had never been the smartest one out there. Far from the brightest knife in the crayon box, as it were. Definitely not the sharpest crayon in the toolshed. A few eggs short of a full deck. She wasn't stupid, but good lord did she have a chronic problem involving a lack of forethought.
But now she was back on solid ground, running at a quick, easy pace. At every intersection or corner in the road she came to, she'd stop and check her map again. She really didn't want to get lost in this place again. Not here, where the buildings were so tall and high and it was even more of a maze than usual. If she could fly, it might not have been such a problem, but... Well! She could worry about that later! For now she had to worry about getting to someplace to just sit down and catch her breath. That she didn't actually need.
"I think it should be..." she mumbled to herself, darting around a corner. "...up here? Somewhere?" She slowed her pace slightly, looking around more intently. She didn't want to have to start running up and checking everywhere, looking in every building, but... Well. She'd just follow the map as close as she could get.
