A thunder god, barging boisterously into the safe house as if it truly belonged to him? The devil hunter hardly spared more than a glance, making a pointed effort to ignore the self-proclaimed deity. Dante knew these kinds of people from experience, and they didn't tend to last longer than one or two battles with the half-devil personally.
Of course, the rules were different here, in the Omniverse, within the Syntech event. Even so, Tony Redgrave had no intent of letting such facts hold him back. He presumed this "god" thought much the same way.
So the only two Primes within the non-aggression area mulled over their own work, and only occasionally each other. Enel made his displeasure over a lack of awe and worship quite apparent, but did not hold it against the red-coat for long. His newfound fascination for the marvels of modern technology and social media seemed to fill his ego comfortably. That was fine with Tony- he didn't need to picking fights here and now, not just yet.
The son of Sparda instead took the presented opportunity to refine his course of action. Looking over the map, he found a compromise between Zones B and D: Zone C, the Megacity. If his known allies met up at the Safehouse there, they could all share what they knew throughout the team and make their next move together. Better than traveling individually and risking being a sole target. Tony wasn't quite used to so frequently have to plan and form teams, but until the devil hunter could match the legendary power he bore before the Omniverse, such strategy would be necessary.
He sent a message to Graowr and Jak- a text over the Communicator, more discreet than speech. The last thing any of them needed was to reveal their destination to potential enemies. When finished, Tony pocketed his devices and stood up.
"God, man, animal- I don't particularly care who you are," the redcoat said, a shadow-laced tone lining his words. "I hope you don't plan on trying to get in my way. I'm sure you realize that even gods can die." With that threat placed well between the lightning fighter's elongated ears, Redgrave pushed open the door and walked into the pouring rain.
Someone was out here already. Navigating over uprooted stumps and misplaced foliage, the worn-looking figure spared little time and effort to keep moving. Steady progress should be smooth as a result, and moving too quick in one burst would just leave the body tired and vulnerable. His only pause came in the form of obtaining a piece of discarded work equipment- perhaps it would perform as well in mutilating flesh as it would timber.
He sensed a new presence, however, and turned to face it, new bounty in hand. The silver-haired perpetrator quickly leveled his twin pistols, exhibiting caution. After a bated moment, however, the newcomer dispelled his strike of fear, lowering his weapons.
"Oh, jeez, you're not gonna use that on me, are you?" Dante asked, and felt a bit ridiculous for doing so. Of course the man would, if the situation came down to it. "I'm so sorry, it's just- the last guy I saw with robes and a chainsaw was terribly eager to cut me down." Profound memories of the devil hunter's life being viciously torn away in the Graveyard bubbled to the surface- he wasn't looking forward to having to relive that so soon.
