DOJO

"So the squid has made herself in charge, hm?" he asked himself, mildly annoyed at the sudden giving of orders. She seemed to switch between assertiveness with no quarter, and fearful following. Well, that wasn't too bad. Spending some more time around her would let him find some buttons he could press to properly manipulate her. Bendy, on the other hand, he found a strange kinship with. The creature was practically a Saru itself, as well as a very lethal Prime, something he could appreciate.

This alliance had been something just for fun, initially, but he could see it continuing its use even after the fun game of Dante's Abyss came to an end. With Abyss at the forefront of any of his future designs, anyone looking too close would only see her- and underestimate them all.

Doing as she said, because why not, he half-closed his eyes, feeling around with his Halo. It wasn't as good as Chi Sense, as it didn't tell him anything but the locations of people he had already met, but it would have to do.

...Nobody nearby the dojo, and Abyss had dragged Bendy back to the central hallway to go yell at someone for messing up her summoning.

He had the room all to himself, he supposed.

With an evil smile, he turned towards the training dummies. He delivered a punch via a Palace Hand to one of them, and felt disappointed. In terms of raw power he was better than a fool off the street, but this was a professional tournament! He needed something with more... oomph. The Spinning Death Palace Hand was always an option, but it was limited by his casual range, and while he could move- going too fast with the whirring blades nearby might mean more cuts for him than his opponent. A casual stroll forward was all he could risk using that.

Palace Splash didn't harm the opponent so much as trip them up and place them where Chakravartin wanted them to be. It had barely worked against the Dire Wolves, and though the humans here are likely to be less powerful than a beast... they were also Primes. He couldn't rely on it to save his life in this contest.

So... something else. "Fist of God!" he cried, and he felt his Chi- or whatever Omni had replaced his life energy with, begin to roil around inside him.

To be fair, his host had favored such a technique more than Chakravartin himself did. The explosive felt... too crude, for a god, in most cases. It always felt far more fitting to simply crush them with a great golden hand- show his opponents a glimpse of what they were truly fighting. But he was no longer a god, was he? That was Omni's role in this universe.

Crude would do. "PALACE TAIHOU!" Chakravartin growled, forcing Chi into his hands, a familiar sphere of roiling, sparkling, gold and gray energy began to spin into shape in one of his hands. It started out the size of a beach ball, but he knew he could make it worse! He grinned, as he focused on the energy itself.

Twenty seconds.

The Taihou was a fourth of its previous size, and he could feel the energy inside begin to vibrate explosively. As it shrunk more and more so, however, he realized that the amount of energy was far too unstable. And his own level of control was literally leagues away from what it had been.

Thirty five, thirty six, thirty seven, thirty eight-

He could see the light beginning to break free from the gray and gold- beams of pure white, sizzling hot beginning to appear inside it, and he threw. He threw with all his might, terrified at the thought of losing a hand to the broiling marble he was holding.

He aimed for the dummy, and it missed by almost a foot, to his shame.

The sphere clattered against the ground, and rolled.

It did not explode.

"Of course- no Chi." he said, irritated. Well, that wouldn't matter, all his opponents would be made of living flesh, plenty of chi to trigger his explosive. With a sigh, he drew a tiny bit of material from himself, and handed it to a Palace Hand. It was a glob of protean metal no bigger than a tooth, but as the Palace Hand dropped the mass on the Taihou, Chakravartin quickly pulled his hand away, not wanting to be crippled before the start of the contest.

The explosion was more than he had hoped for. He had to actually begin jumping away, to avoid the radius of destructive gold light. Where the Taihou had been was now a deep crater in the dojo floor, where there had been a dummy there was now a battered, ripped, and torn up frame of one.

He smiled, now, to see if he could keep Abyss and Bendy out of the Dojo, so as to keep from explaining this.

He entered the CENTRAL HALLWAY.
