“Ah~” Clownpiece fell backwards, laying into the grass with a contented sigh on her lips. With the warm sun bearing down on her, she closed her eyes, and basked. “Delicious... Good haul, Cirno!” She lazily lifted her right arm up, giving a half-assed thumbs up.

“It’s only natural that I’d choose right!” Her friend’s voice came from the right, even with her ears, as if she was laying down as well. Though the ice fairy had her usual, haughty tone, there was a hint of drowsiness to it. Outside of her congratulations on a job well done, there wasn’t much left for the blonde fairy to say at the moment. She simply laid there, feeling the warmth of the sun on her body and the gentle scratching of the grass on her bare arms. Coupled with the soft breeze, and the gentle murmur of the crowds around her, she was certain she’d doze off if she wasn’t too careful.

But maybe a nap now wasn’t so bad. It wasn’t like she’d have time to be napping when the event started. She’d be busy fighting people and proving her strength. For that, she would need as much energy as possible. Who knew how long it’d last, how many people she’d need to face, or how much running around she’d be doing.

Her mouth pulled down into a silent frown. She wondered if maybe she should be preparing for it somehow. Practice fighting like what Cirno had been doing? Then again, you weren’t supposed to exercise until thirty minutes after a meal, right? If that was the case, then sleeping here would be the responsible thing to do. A radiant smile crossed her lips again. Lazing around right now would be totally worth it in the long run.

Yeah, totally worth it....
