(Preshow) Preshow Facility

After the hero was away from Ron Burgundy, it was time to move to the gym area for a bit of gun practice. The eco warrior had picked up some “tacos” as they called it here and started to eat them sideways as they tasted good to his his rumbling stomach.

“Damn, no wonder these things taste so good.”

He was chewing on the taco when he noticed a half naked guy staring at him. He turned his head and stared back, it was probably the knife ears. People always stared at those.

He eyed back and stared back, raising a eyebrow.

His com/dataverse device had gone off then,

It brought a small smile to his face.

Someone he knew from previous years was coming, a friend and teammate earlier.

“Mar” kept his distance, and watched the competitors, eyeing one table which interested him who was full of men and a silverish woman with armor on.

Then there was the strange man who stared at him, by far the strangest he’s seen, a talking squid and a cartoon who looked straight out of one of his storybooks.

There was a man with black hair and a sword as well.

He also noticed a man with dark tinted skin who looked like he could belong in a crime mafia of some sort.

A lot different than what he’d be through in his worst times working for the bad guys.

He walked up to the armored woman and eyed behind him before nodding. “Hey.”
