Continuation from : DA motivation post More than just a butler   

It was late in the night and a young man was stationed at the signup station on the first tier of Coruscant. It was quiet at the hub, it seemed most of the folks were at home. The Abyss employee was a scrawny  man, staring at some screen in front of him, it was obvious he was just bored and passing time. The poor guy nearly shat himself when from the corner of his eyes Batman appeared from the shadows. The intimidating black armor covered by his cape struck terror into his soul.

"W-welcome to t-t-the Abyss signup station. A-re you a contender?"

Batman responded with a simple short nod.

"A-alright, I just need some information before I can let you enter, what is your name?"

The caped martial artist took a step forward, almost invading the personal space. He looked down and with his iconic deep voice he responded, "I'm Batman."

"Batman...Alright. And how long have you been in the Omniverse?"
The only response the young man got was a long hard stare and an uncomfortable silence. "right, e-ehm, I'll just put down recently came to the Omniverse, alright?" Yet again not a single response.

"Current occupation?"

"Currently beating the crap out of the scum in this verse, after that, probably beating the crap out of scum of another verse."

"Next question, what verse do you call home?"

"Enough with these questions. Just put my name in the system and let me in." The agitated rough voice of the dark knight once again had its desired effect. It was pretty clear that the young man was regretting ever taking this job.

"I-I'm sorry Mr.Batman, before I am allowed to let you go anywhere I have to ask each contestant these questions. Could you p-please just answer why you are participating?"

"I'm looking for some people, they are either participating or they will see me participate, either way, this will make every verse know, Batman is here."

His interviewer nodded and wrote it down.
"Thank you Batman, you may now proceed towards the teleporter. From there you will be send to the facility where all contesters gather. Best of luck out there."
The dark knight nodded once more before stepping onto the platform, a bright light appeared, taking the Prime to Karl Jak's playground.
