"Hmm well I ate breakfast here today, so I might get the grilled fish with asparagus." It cake with a side of brown rice which Gildarts enjoyed. "The breakfast was good," he added politely.
"Hm, you don't summon your own food?" Guu asked a hint of shyness in her tone
"That would require... Concentration." As he looked away, Gildarts felt his cheeks blush, though with his olive skin and scruffy beard it was hard to tell. "Plus it always has a charm trying new things on the menu."
"Thinking about any drinks?" Mina swooped in and asked, "Do y'all need any more time or do you know what you're getting?" There was a pause and she winked at the pair, acknowledging that their first-date awkwardness was both silly and cute.
"None for me, it spills in there," Guu said gesturing to her stomach.
Gildarts nodded, "I'll have a water," and Mina went off. "Have I missed much in Ambrosia? We didn't get much of the chance to talk about it when we were off tangoing in the middle of the forest, finding and destroying casinos."
Their adventure had been long and arduous. Gildarts wasn't sure what their accomplishment had been in the end, his memory was patchy like that, but he had been there for his guild leader and that was what mattered most to the noble mage of Fairy Tail.
