Nyeseth looked at the man after being asked for a favor, the man would opt to call it a proposition or maybe even a business agreement, but Nyeseth was not a business man, nor was he one for fancy words for a simple favor. Nyeseth examined him closer, noticing that this man was no small pushover, he would have to work hard to win a fight against him, unless his muscles were just for show, and he had no fighting skill at all. It wasn't like he was looking for excuses to get out of it, in fact if it was a little girl, he’d be obliged to look for her and make sure no harm comes to her, but since he knew nothing, he was a little skeptical.
‘You look like you could handle anything the forest throws at you, why aren't you out there looking?’ Nyeseth asked as he rested his hand atop the handle of his sword and looked Hank directly in the eyes.
‘Well, you see, a respectable business owner such as myself couldn't just up and leave his own establishment to search for a single person. It would cause chaos with the employees. It would also leave my position open for anyone to take.’ Hank explained as he paced backwards and forwards, looking sincerely at Nyeseth as he did so, every so often he would raise his hand and gesture to the building they were standing in, as if it was his most important possession.
‘And our payment?’ Nyeseth asked, causing a smirk to appear on Hank’s face, it unnerved Nyeseth a little bit, but it was nothing too serious to warrant caution.
‘You just let me handle that, Mr. Soul Reaper… You just let me handle that.’ Hank said as he returned to behind his desk, sitting down at it and pulling a picture from a draw to his right.
‘This is the girl you’re looking for. She’s a little shorter than your little girl Guu.’ Hank said as he handed Nyeseth the picture.
‘Actually, they aren't-’ Nyeseth began before he was cut off by Hank.
‘She’s got black hair and blue eyes, she has a dark complexion and she’s born to a Human male and an Elf female, so she’s half elf, not hard to miss.’ Hank explained as Nyeseth looked over the picture, the girl looked no older than five or six.
‘Man, now I practically have to find her.’ Nyeseth thought to himself as he slipped the photo into his shihakusho, returning his hand to its usual resting place atop his sword’s handle.
‘Well… Mr. Hank… You have yourself a deal, we’ll find your little girl, you can count on me.’ Nyeseth smiled as he held out his hand as a gesture of good faith, a promise and as a business transaction.
‘Thank you Mr. Soul Reaper, it’d mean a lot to the mother of this child.’ Hank smiled as he spun around in his chair so that it was facing away from them.
‘Well, you know the drill, blind fold the little girls.’ Jereth said as he handed the girls blindfolds and watched them tie them on and then lead them through the front building and back out into the forest.
‘We hope to see you return here soon and safely.’ Jereth smiled as he went inside, closing the door behind him as he did so.
As Desco and Guu removed their blind folds, Nyeseth looked at them and scratched his head.
‘Well… Where do we look first?’ Nyeseth asked as Desco and Guu looked up at him.
