(Preshow) Registration (Where you Sign up IC)
#6
Cole looked at the side of a building in Coruscant, staring at a poster set up outside. Dante's Abyss... a fighting tournament... perhaps it would be a good idea, to at least try to participate, to possibly help him get an idea of how the world works. Cole was a bit surprised, to find himself wanting to enter a fighting tournament. In the past, he had always fought for necessity, or to help others, but never for fun. Perhaps things had changed, even more than he had thought. Following where the poster pointed, he came to a small stand, where inside was a woman, adorned with the attire of a Syntech employee.
"Hello. This is the sign up station for Dante's Abyss, would you like to sign up?" the worker asked.
"Yes. Do I need to fill out an application, or are the sign ups verbal?"
"Just an application," the woman replied with a chuckle, handing him a small slip of paper. On it, there was a seemingly long list of questions, and Cole looked at them, for a second, before finally remembering what to do and taking the paper. He fumbled around in his pockets, looking for something to write with, and the worker chuckled again, and handed him a pen. Taking a deep breath, Cole set the paper down, and started on the application.

What is your name?

Cole answered this one simply, writing "Cole Tyson".

How long have you been in the Omniverse?

The blue lantern thought back... now it had been... a few days? He wrote down one week, possibly an exaggeration.

Where do you live in the Omniverse?

On this one, Cole became slightly confused. He didn't have a permanent residence: for now, he lived in a hotel. So, he simply wrote down, "No permanent residence, primarily hotels in Coruscant"

What is your current job?

An easy one. Cole wrote down none.

What was your life like back in your own world?

Cole thought back... mostly, he had been homeless, but he guessed they wouldn't want to hear that. He just wrote down that he was a vigilante. Accurate enough.

Why are you joining Dante's Abyss?

Somewhat harder... Cole wrote down to get an idea of what the Omniverse was. The sign-up sheet was far easier than Cole had expected; he was glad, now, that he'd be able to enter the competition. He handed the sheet to the worker, and she took it quickly, gesturing Cole to a pad nearby. Standing on it, the worker pressed a button in the booth, sending the pad-and Cole-moving quickly, taking him to the Syntech facilities.
