He did not think they were too far off. Aang focused on the stone in front of him. With slow breaths, he centered his chi. Each exhale came with a small billow of fire. The air flowed across his bare upper form. The humidity thickened on his skin. Three of the four elements were within his reach, but one was just beyond it.
Aang stretches out his hand, as if fitting it into the glove from afar. The glove was an extension of his body. It was him. He was the stone. The Stone Glove... twitched. "HAH! It moved!"
Chakravartin's bushy brow rose. "I missed it..." He had been looking at the trees far below, deep in contemplation. "Do it again."
Again? Aang had broken his trance in surprise, so it came down to another ten seconds of centering himself. The elements nearby were no issue. Water streamed along his skin, pushed and pulled by the air. His lips let loose the smallest plume of brilliant flame. His hand curled, reaching for the glove. Slowly, ever so slowly, the glove... moved.
The Avatar was not ready to celebrate yet - at least not again. He lifted his hand, trembling slightly. Slowly, he wiggled his fingers. The digits grind as they move, not the most fluid, but definitely under his control. Aang laughed breathlessly as he reached with the Stone Glove, stretching all the way over to the bag of previsions. The stone returns wiht a single nut... "I think I got it!"
