Aang was not too comfortable with that grin. A general air of suspicion was steadily growing around this Chakravartin fellow. Momo was generally a very good judge of character, and the fact that he acted so aggressively meant quite a bit more than Chakravartin might realize.
Lysandra had been the host of the lemur before Chakra's approach, so she was naturally startled at the flurry of movement. She almost did not catch the questions aimed at her. Even when she heard them, her response was a "one moment" finger held up. Too fascinated with the lemur, she attempts to grab him under the arms from Aang's shoulder. The lemur managed to react, but not quite fast enough. Lysandra's hands grabbed around the lemur's legs. In response, Momo reveals the spines protruding from his wrists and the thin leathery membrane that spreads between them. As Lysandra held the lemur's ankles, it tried to fly away. Its long tail swatted her face harmlessly as it chattered.
It was hard not to laugh at Lysandra's playfullness, the way she giggled at Momo's antics. Aang remained seated, watching how easily the woman got along with Momo. Sure, Momo was trying to escape, but no more than a cat who was tired of snuggles. This was nothing like the way Momo reacted to Chakravartin. It was made clear when Lysandra pulled the lemur back and snuggled him to her chest. "You are so adorable!"
"Momo," Aang reminded her, just in case.
"Momo!" From her tone, it would seem she had initially missed the lemur's name. Aang was sure if Lysandra knew she could get away with it, she would steal Momo and dress him up... like the dozens of little girls who would do exactly that when they were younger.
While Lysandra was distracted, the Avatar turns his attention over to Chakravartin. "Go easy on her, alright? She just realized she was working for bad guys, it's probably not the best time to drill her for information." If she even had any, for that matter.
