A New Avatar Arrives
#21
Aang remained quiet as Chakravartin fabricated a physical item from his Omnilium. Personally, the thought had never occurred to him to try and create such a thing outside of his body. And wasn't it said he could create... people? Even if he could, Aang would not curse Katara to this life. Losing her bending would be devastating. Toph too; he knew she would be the worst off. Her blind eyes without the Earthbending senses would probably terrify the fearless woman.

Sokka. As Aang thought about it, Sokka became a somewhat obvious choice. He was already human, with no special powers. However, could Aang really bring Sokka to this world? Come to think of it, would he be bringing the real Sokka, or fabricating a copy from memory? There was so much to think about. Who would he bring? Or should he stay alone in this venture? Well... there wsa Lysandra, but she did not seem the type to stick around much.

"Momo!" Aang's sudden thought was spoken aloud in his own surprise. Why had he not thought of this? Momo would be that little connection he needed, a boost to his spirits. "Uh... give me a minute, I want to uh... do the thing." He gestures to the crutch the ebony woman was walking with on her way back to wherever. With the brief warning, he takes a few steps away and drops to a cross-legged position. "You guys can keep talking, don't mind me."

The avatar's hands closed into loose fists, before resting knuckle to knuckle with the other. The arrows on his hands pointed towards each other, towards the center of his body. With a deep, calming breath, Aang began meditating. He focused heavily on the memories of Momo, every little detail. He purposely pushed away thoughts about his animal friend's later years. Instead, he focused on Momo from his youth.

The shimmering sphere of Omnilium formed in front of him. It wriggled as it grew, slowly stretching like a developing embryo. It would have been fascinating to watch, but Aang had opted to close his eyes during the process. Unlike Chakravartin's creation of a crutch, his own desire was vastly complicated.

Lysandra watched with avid fascination, just as she had with Chakra's creation. Eventually though, the drawn out process allows her attention to depart, and return to the former deity. "Umm... We came from Coruscant... that way." She pointed in the direction they had been walking before Chakra's arrival, the exact opposite way from the fountain not far behind. "I guess the boss is from there too, but... he might be in any of the others that can connect to the dataverse..." That was a big help, but she never claimed to be a big part of the organization in the first place.

The brunet's attention returned to the Avatar's creation at the sound of chittering. A four-legged creature with a long tail and massive ears was taking shape. Its fur was slowly starting to grow and transition from shimmering colors to white and brown. His big eyes and small face, especially with the heart-shaped brown patch that framed it, had many back home dying from the sheer adorable nature of the Winged Lemur. This was obviously no easy task to the Avatar. The number of tattoos across his body were glowing, and his brow was knit with concentration and effort. Clearly he had no past life experience with creation from nothing.

By the time the lemur was complete, Aang felt exhausted. Though no physical effort was needed, mentally he had put so much into the animal. Momo's first response to new life was to clamber all over Aang till he sat atop the Avatar's head. Big ears perked, twitching this way and that as his eyes peered at the only other two bodies in the vicinity. The lemur chittered at them, not angrily, but questioningly. "Boy... I could use a nap..."

Aang rubbed his eyes, then his temples. "She wasn't lying... apparently we can create people." And animals, it seems. "Guys, this is Momo." The lemur's tail flicked. He peered down, hanging almost off Aang's head to look Aang face to face. The bald head had nothing to hang on to, so Momo slips, dropping down into Aang's lap. As quick as he fell, Momo was up and leaping off his shoulder to crawl onto Lysandra's head. Lysandra practically melted at Momo's sheer adorable nature, unleashing a fierce girly squeal.
