Warren confirmed Cole's suspicions that the soldiers that carried the organ dealer away were Stormtroopers. Cole was... certainly not surprised, and perhaps a bit happy that he was right, but that wasn't completely accurate... perhaps, angry was the best way to put it? Warren continued, saying that if you try something like inventing things, the Stormtroopers would destroy one's living space and arrest them. Both Warren and Cole were in silent agreement on how to feel about this: Angry. Clearly this government was restrictive; the Coruscant government was obviously unfit to rule, for they dominated all of their inhabitants' lives. Warren explained that was why he didn't accept the ring, and Cole thought it rational. When one could scarcely talk too loud without authoritarian soldiers attacking them, it was clearly not a place to experiment. When Warren said he wanted to create the Hard-Light technology without the emotional spectrum, Cole was slightly offended, before regaining his composure, thinking about why he'd do that. While there were disadvantages associated with using such technology- if one's emotion would fade, as does their power, for example- the power associated with the emotions, even the weakest ones, is too great to ignore. So, he decided to tell warren.
"The emotional spectrum is powerful. Don't underestimate it."
"And Hope especially so. While you certainly should be able to choose whether to use these emotional powers, I'd highly recommend that you do," Walker added. While of course he thought that one doesn't necessarily need the emotional spectrum, he agreed with Cole that Warren should surely use it.
