I've actually toyed with your first idea, but instead it would be the aliens from Edge of Tomorrow. I get pulled into the Ominverse as the Omega and I have Time Manipulation, but my Prime NPC's are my Alpha's and my Secondaries are drones and I live in the Omniverse in one secret location, travelling through my minions.
