So there were other emotions that could provide him the advantages of power,  even if he couldn't wield the power of Hope per say. Hope was an emotion that required one look to the bright side of things, and avoid sinking into despair. Yet here in the Omniverse, despair was one of the things Warren had experienced plenty of. Bad memories of his time on Coruscant came back into his mind because of what had happened here. Shudders of phantom pain went through his body as he mentally revisited the beatings that had occurred by the hand of those Storm Troopers when he had been cleaning the vehicles as per his "community service" assignment that had been forced onto him by them.

"So one doesn't need an emotion to use a ring because if they are able to study the Hard Light Technology which was the only thing I wanted your ring for, to be honest, they could create their own variant that doesn't need the Emotional Spectrum in order to create items."

It was true Warren didn't want the powers of a Lantern as they likely had duties associated with them that he'd been unable to fulfill in any variant or requirement. After all, he was no good guy. The mere thought of him being a hero was not something that he liked to imagine. Presently he knew he didn't have what it took to play the role of a hero. Probably he never was going to be capable enough to become one on a suitable enough level to meet the needs of such a power if he ever gained it.

Will, Hope, Rage, Fear,  Compassion and Avarice and Love. The emotions of the Emotional Spectrum and if what Cole had told him was proven to be true they all possessed power that rivaled that of a Blue Lantern Ring. Studying such was definitely going to be in his best interests so he could achieve power that would allow him to conquer his opponents. No trace of such was allowed by him to be revealed on his face, however.
"You know Saint Walker, in the past I encountered another version of you. It's probably why you don't remember me."

He'd look over at Cole for a moment.  "Catch."   He'd toss the ring back to him and Saint Walker.

"While I would like to use this, it would be better if my own creation were not based on the Emotional Spectrum. After all, I'm not going to steal someone else's work to make my own ideas a reality here in the Omniverse," said Warren. "I do at least have some ideas now which is more than I did before. Thank you for the ideas by the way," said Warren.

"There's another reason that I'm rejecting the ring, however. Jewelry isn't my style."  He'd say as he looked at the both of them to see their reaction to what he had done. There was another reason that he had rejected the ring, however. It was a quite simple one actually and that was that Warren knew he wasn't worthy of the power of a Blue Lantern Ring. Or any of the rings for that matter, as he played the role of the bad guy like he always had. His skills did need to improve before he could consider himself a true villain.

"Figuring out the Hard Light Technology's going to be a pain, but it's one of the reasons I'm here on Coruscant." said Warren. Partially true as he was also here on Coruscant to relocate his base once he'd done enough stuff to get himself to suitable levels of power here. If he were to relocate his base he could take advantage of the Storm Troopers rather than be assaulted by them. After all being attacked here would mean the Storm Troopers were going to turn on his enemies instead of him. Who would be stupid enough to attack him in such a case?
