Not much was to be said after that.
Morene felt a bit amused cornering Zedd in such a way, though it wasn't exactly satisfying to see. There was a slight worry in her gut that at one point, this would turn for the worse. The metal-clad huntress also noted the ominously silent, barely standing factory in front of the Liberators not helping the mood at all.
Saying something along the lines of this is an obvious trap would even be considered smarmy among the group; of course it was. Nebula, whoever this being was, was laying out a little path for them to follow, and everybody knew this. The convenience of it felt so intentional in fact, Morene herself felt a bit overwhelmed at the power this creature must have had over them.
... Silence; the Primes looked at each other, walking towards the factory, and the portal that found itself in the center.
Then again, Morene thought, sighing, I do have a bit of a reputation for foiling perfectly constructed plans. She finished, looking on at the her comrades before her, heroes and warlords alike.
Certainly, they do as well.
Which is why they strode forward, flinging the doors of the building open. The area was dead, oozing with the remains of Darklings at every corner. The urbanized tone of the factory itself was too much for even Morene to bear, the pollution it created not helping whatsoever.
A few corners and doors passed by the Liberators, and it didn't take long for the group to eventually run into the portal, waiting in the midst of concrete ruin and deathly unfiltered air.
All of the Primes stopped moving, observing the dangerous tear in existence that would allow them to enter what Morene assumed to be Nebula's dominion. They looked at each other again, Jak deciding to speak up.
"We ready for this?" the eco warrior's ears swayed as he turned his head to ask the question in hand.
Dante was the first to respond, of course. Itching to end this once and for all, the Son of Sparda chuckled. "Ready as I'll ever be."
The woman in the group took no time to answer with words, however. Through the bodily language of eagerly progressing forward and reaching an arm into the portal itself, Morene might as well have said "me first!" as if she were a child wanting to be the first in the family to open presents on an important holiday.
