In June through August? Even then, that's not a insta death in any of the options. I probably wrote once every 7 days in the first DA and made it quite far.
If all out war is your thing, that's fine too. Just be aware that not only is option C one of the longer running ones (making it more likely to occur during your week away), if your team ain't being run by just one or a few people, you'll likely be asked to weigh in on things on a daily basis.
