Rise to power interrupted [Nexus]
#2
Slowly the darkness was replaced by light and whiteness that eagerly took form. The ground, the sky, were bright, clear white, to the point where it was hard to distinguish the horizon. Tommy's legs shook and he looked down to see he was wearing the last outfit he had took pride in selecting for himself.

A pair of thick black boots, a gray pair of jeans that had a slight tear in the right leg and a black long sleeved shirt that Rita had personally created after he obtained the powers of the White Tigerzord and Dragonzord power coins respectively.

A intertwined white and green yin-yang symbol, with the DragonZord's coin in the white curve of symbol, and the TigerZord's symbol lay in the dark. Though he was not morphed, the once enchanted sword known as Saba was sheathed and attached to his left hip, while the sword of darkness lay across his back.

The weight of the morpher was felt in his back pocket and he made it a point to pull it out and examine it quickly. No cracks, no damage. It was intact completely.

But he felt as though it was 'silent' when before it nearly sang and radiated with power. With a sigh he shook his head and placed the item of power back in its home. Again he'd repeated the question from earlier as he looked around, "Where the hell am I?" he whispered as he examined his surroundings.

Peering down he took a step back and bumped into a large man behind him, "Watch it you.", was all the balding older man said before walking off.

Tommy's observational skills were nearly impeccable. It came from years of practice with his grandfather, father, and brother. Martial arts training and his father's military mind had taught him to not only take in his surroundings and those in it, but try to become it as soon as possible.

The older man was dressed as though he had stepped out of an movie, or the past. He was dressed in nearly full armor, as damaged as it were; it made him look intimidating. The steel had signs of scorch marks, heavy and deep gouges that could have been inflicted by battle axes or claws.

Each step caused a heavy clang to fill the air, and as Tommy watched the knight depart, he noticed the ground.

The ground beneath him looked as though it was due to vanish within a few seconds and he thought he would fall through. Looking up, he saw there was no sun, yet the area was alit as though there was.

For some reason, the direction the knight took had caught his attention and soon enough, Tommy was making his way to the east.
It took time but eventually he ventured to the east, a gate, an archway of stone, loomed in the distance.

The giant fountain at the center he saw was interesting, but he would ignore it. He would not attempt to walk towards it.

Especially since there were others behind him, pushing him forward by bumping into him or rudely cursing. He would not engage in violence here, not in a unknown place and new possible world.

Besides that, he felt different. There was no sign of sickness within him, no mental disturbance. Just a sense of normalcy.
After absorbing both the power of the Tigerzord and Dragonzord, he had managed to tap into the power of the morphing grid without actually being morphed. It enabled him to tap into power beyond the possibility of many humans, and to an extent; his enemy Power Rangers.

An enhanced speed, strength and other abilities that made him deadly and formidable outside of the armored uniform of what he wore when morphed. And when transformed, it was nearly doubled if not more.

But now, he was...just normal.

As he continued on, he tried to feel the connection that once flowed through him. In a near dazed state, he nearly bumped into the older knight who stood before the archway and stared at the man.

Standing this close to the knight, Tommy noticed that like his armor, the warrior's face was also scarred and had a burn across the portion of his neck that was visible.

The knight's dark brown eyes stared into Tommy's own eyes, a light brown that was now tinted green and could be called 'hazel' by some. A side-effect of having absorbed the powers he once brandished.

"Hey there Prime, you lost? If you're seeking a place to serve, test your abilities or just gather your bearings; see to it that you follow me to Camelot. It's not a place for the weak. Bandits are among the common threats, and other foulness threatens the world. I serve-" he continued on, but instead of waiting to listen, Tommy walked past him, his hand falling to the hilt of Saba.

"Lord Drakkon serves no one.", he stated outright before walking through the archway and heading to the world of Camelot.

Only time could tell whether or not that would remain to be true.
