Baby Steps

[Guu]

As Nyeseth took his first steps towards the gate, he felt something shimmying up his body. A chill came down his spine as it felt like it slithered up his back. Hairs raised on his neck as he felt the noodle like arm grasp his shoulder. He didn't dare look over, for fear to see those eyes up close again.
Guu climbed passed Nyeseth and onto Desco; sitting herself perfectly balanced on top of her head. The added weight nearly caused Nyeseth to fall on his back, but remembering what else he'd be dropping he quickly regained his posture. A bit wobbly, he continued to walk forward, trying to pretend that didn't just happen.
