The Sky's The Limit
#21
...Arle considered Warren's words for a while. She honestly loved the cold. The winter season was her favorite time of year and about the only time she changed up her outfit. However, there were limits to even the mightiest chionophile's tolerance to the cold. "Yeah, I guess I could see how that would get a little... cold..." Arle replied somewhat light-heartedly. ...Are you proud of that, Arle? Are you proud of what you just did? You keep that up and you're going to summon ghosts. Yeah, those ghosts. You'll think you're just making a little joke and the next thing you know you'll hear a cheeky 'Yu Reing?' from behind you and it's all over from there. Dang kids. Puns aside, Arle was somewhat surprised by Warren's offer of food. Somehow she'd never expect Omnillium to be able to do... well, anything! That was probably her fault, now that she thought about it. She was pretty sure she remembered Omni saying something along those lines, but somehow she'd imagined that he was exagerating a bit.

Arle and Warren find themselves in a quaint, tiny little park lovingly set aside to commemorate the life of an archmage named Antonidas. There was a statue of what Arle assumed to be the old man in question hoveirng a couple of feet off the ground not far into the park, eliciting Arle's bewilderment. ...I mean seriously! No one was even here to cast the spell! Was there just an enchantment you could cast that would make things float, no matter how heavy they were? "...How do they do that?" the mage quietly mused aloud, barely audible. She turned to Warren and acknowledged him with a thoughtful look on her face. "...Sure~! I'm always up for an adventure." Arle replied, decidedly into this idea. She had no use for a sword, but perhaps she'd learn something new along the way. She would then go on to examine the food. She felt weird, with the table just kinda there out in the open. She began to inspect the food that had been created, wanting an idea of what exactly she was about to eat before she stuffed it in her mouth. Who knew just how tastes would translate across worlds?
