Bruce dragged both unconscious bodies behind the pillars of the nearby portal. Making sure they were out for the count. Not knowing how many more were in the vicinity so he had to be careful. Once both storm troopers were stacked together he started to investigate the gate. "Strange structure, no visible tech or runes. This must be some sort of magic." He's seen similar gates created by Constantine and Zatanna. They haven't worked in Bruce's favor in the past, simply walking through an unknown passage was the dumbest thing he could do at this point. He remembered seeing others in this place, one of the structures had guards, perhaps it would be best if he ... asked for directions. He shuddered at the thought, Batman asking directions? Not a chance, if Oliver ever heard of it he would never let bruce hear the end of it. Perhaps it was time to return to his alter ego Bruce Wayne, at least until he knew where these gates lead.
Remembering what Omni said regarding Omnilium he started to think how it could be used to his advantage. Through the natural flow of the omnilium from deep within him he started to summon a normal three piece suit, un-summoning his batsuit. Within mere moments the transformation was complete, Batman was gone and Bruce Wayne made his appearance. "Not bad." Bruce grinned as he checked out his threads. It's been years since he was able to walk around like this, back in his dimension he had been living 5 years in hiding. Normally he wouldn't walk around like this, but his armor would attract more attention than he could use right now. Strange creatures, soldier patrols and mysterious gates, last thing Bruce needed was getting on someone's radar before he knew what the hell was going on.
The journey through the nexus continued, going on foot it took forever to get anywhere in this place. Being all white it felt as if you never closed in at your destination. He was almost back at the fountain when he noticed another Person, calmly sitting on the edge. It was clear he was using the omnilium. Bruce simply observed. Within minutes a strange floating vehicle was summoned, the energy was used to create something that wasn't there before. The stranger climbed his transportation and took off. The fresh prime knew what to do, sitting in the same spot as the stranger he started focusing. He couldn't summon his Batmobile, it would be too flashy and attract too much attention. Instead he would bring one of his most favorite cars, the Bentley. In mere moments the black classic stood before him. Stepping into the car he sat on fine Italian leather, this car had it all. Hands gliding over the steering wheel, checking the mirrors, Bruce's mind wandered back to better days. Where there was no fear, no regime, where he could still be Bruce Wayne. Over the years it became more and more clear that Wayne was his alter ego, he became Batman fulltime. This was a nice reminder of what once was, and with this he could continue his journey. Bruce turned the key and the engine revved loudly, pressing the peddle down the car's engine roared as it took off. The millionaire was pressed back into the chair as he raced through the Nexus, he would be at the guarded gate in no time.
In the distance the stormtroopers noticed a vehicle speeding their way, nothing out of the ordinary, they witness strange vehicles on a daily basis. Like proper soldiers they stood guard as was their assignment, always weary of their surroundings and making sure no wanted primes entered Coruscant. The black vehicle stopped a few meters before the gate, the car door opened and non other then millionaire Bruce Wayne got out of the car, not that anyone was impressed. Both stormtroopers simply stood guard and observed as the stranger adjusted his suit before stepping towards both white armored troopers. "Greetings, could you two tell me where this portal leads?" It took a while before Bruce got his answer but finally one of the troopers responded, "You are about to enter Coruscant, ruled by our emperor, the finest verse there is." Was his proud statement.
"What do you mean, verse?"
"Ah, seems like we are dealing with a fresh prime. Currently you are located in the Nexus, each gate leads to a different verse. "
'it seems this world is a whole lot bigger than expected. I need to get more Intel about this world.'
"Does this Coruscant place offer a place where one might look up information about this place?"
"Coruscant is the true capital of the Omniverse, anything you need you can find there. Its a place for primes to climb the ladder of power. Might be interesting for a new prime like yourself"
It was obvious the guard was selling him a story. Bruce was playing along with the scene to stay on their good side. His train of thought got interrupted when one of the guards got a message from within his helmet.
"Be on the lookout for a masked prime dressed in black armor and a black cape, he took out a patrol near the pale moors gate" Both troopers replied they received the message.
"Problems?" Bruce asked.
"Yet another hostile prime in the area, we will have to keep a lookout for him. But don't worry, inside Coruscant you are safe as long as you obey the laws of the verse."
Bruce nodded in agreement, "Alright gentlemen, thank you for your service." As Bruce stepped towards the entrance of the verse he realized he may have went too far with the patrol, its exactly the unwanted attention he wanted to avoid. He just had to be more careful, especially if this verse has more of these clowns. ' Let's hope this place has more answers, especially how to get back to my own earth. The disguise worked, they had no idea that actually, I'm Batman.'
