Magic was a mystery Warren wasn't likely to ever comprehend. When he watched her crash and burn at casting the spell he sighed. At least now he knew Primes couldn't teach each other their special techniques, which meant anything she learned from the Mages Guild she couldn't pass onto him, and thus he couldn't wield magic. Not that he needed it, of course. If he could get stronger on his own, then that is what he should do. Still, he had promised to help her, and he was going to keep to his word. "I see. So teaching another Prime to do your techniques doesn't work. That is good to know, and I'll be sure to keep that in mind. Of course, it does mean that my original idea of a favor can't be done, since you'd be unable to teach me any of your techniques, unfortunately." said Warren to her. Truthfully right now he was irritated with himself because he hadn't realized it sooner. Facepalming followed that statement. "I should have known I can't teach another Prime how to do what I do, just as you couldn't teach me how to work the magic that you are capable of. I suppose it's for the best though, it will force us to get stronger on our own."
Still, as he looked at her, Warren coughed to cover a blush this time. Truthfully he was nervous about her. She wasn't a zealous hero type but seemed kinder and nicer to him. Why was that? It didn't make sense, and thus confused him.
